So man city expected to sign Bony. Does this make them favourites?

Agree0 Disagree0

Just to add on to the transfer chat but what do you make of Shaquri? Upgrade to Salah at least. maybe

He is a qaulity player, however, there's a reason Munich want rid. His attitude is terrible and is one of the most inconsistent players I've seen. On his day he's of the same quality as the top players. However, I've seen that about once in the World cup in one game. Never seen him play like it apart from that.

I think we should give Baker or Boga or whatever youth players we have that spot.

It seems he's off to inter anyway mate

I think Bony can be a very dangerous player for them and a real asset in the title race. Him and Aguero partnered up front is difficult for any defense.
Let's hope our guys get it together and go on a winning streak. We're going to need it.

Not sure about Bony making them favourites. he's off to the ACON so won't benefit them for the next few weeks. When they have all their players fit, they will face the same problem as when Tevez was there. too many options (and possibly difficult to keep all happy). I assume one of their forwards will be leaving (Jovetic)?

I reckon jovetic will be off too

Would be nice to see Boga get a chance. Does Traore still have work permit issues?

Yep, I don't know how it all works, use the search function, I'm sure Ed002 did a peice on it a while back

{Ed002's Note - You won't know if an issue actually still exists until an application is made. However, he is a regular for BF now and that is the primary criteria so when an application is made it may well be looked on with sympathy.}

Georgebest_26 - yes, Traore still needs a WP

{Ed002's Note - He will always need a work permit.}

MCFC is in need of 4th striker so it makes every sense to sign Bony.

Okay thanks

I hope he keeps playing well at Vitesse second half of the season. Maybe then he'll get his shot in the first team. He could (attacking wise) be a very useful players. Pretty good shot from distance as well.

Sorry, I should have specified if he still had work permit issues or not. I thought he had been playing a lot for BF and obviously a lot on loan too. He seems a real talent and although young, he seems to be a game changer.

Just an interesting question, and one that i'm sure can't be answered all that easily due to the conjecture of it but, as Traore is now 19 I wonder how he compares to Hazard, Messi, Ronaldo etc when they were 19?

It's not really fair to compare Traore to them at similar ages though. Traore only started playing matches in a league at 18. Before he just trained with the youth teams (or something like that). So he probably had to get used to that first. But he's done pretty well IMO. I like him a lot. Great touch on the ball and a good shot on him.

I think the kind of loan hazard and piazon are presently on would be the best solution. Gives him another year of regular football. Allows him another full year of playing for BF to make getting a work permit easier. Finally by I find it very likely one of Schurrle or Willian will be gone clearing a path for him.
