Alright lads just a quick question and for you Ed?
If you could have one player as our marquee signing in the summer would it be VARANE or POGBA?
I'm really stuck with this. Most people want Varane because of his pace which is right but when we have someone on loan in KALAS who's played great for us when he's started should we spend money on Varane when we can find our next gem in Kalas. Not to mention that Kalas is absolutely rapid also. This reminds me of the time when he done Sterling for pace at anfield in April.
Now with Pogba, a fantastic young player but I find him really similar to LOFTUS-CHEEK. I know there would be squad rotation and I think if we stuck with Ramires next to Matic with Mikel as back up and slowly brought Loftus-Cheek through we could have that massive breakthrough in our academy we've been desperate for for so long.
Really hard decision for me so let me know who you would prefer, Varane or Pogba?

Very simple answer would be that it depends on Mourinho.
If he gives Loftus-Cheek a chance next season I say get Varane.
If he doesn't give Loftus-Cheek a chance then get Pogba.
I might seem silly to spell it out like that but over the coming months we will see the measure of it all. Yes RLC is young but there are games that are crying out for him to play in. Yes we need to win games but if he is not going to be trusted like Pogba was at Juve, we should bring in Pogba as he is a welcome addition.
I also feel that Zouma will play a bigger role and some of the youth players you mentioned (Kalas) will get chances.
I guess i'm saying, in a perfect world, Loftus-Cheek will get games and prove how good he is and we will get Varane
. the Pogba will get unhappy at Juve, and we will get him on the cheap haha
Varane
Pogba. No one matches him. He is absolute quality and there's no one like him.
Kalas, Zouma, Ake or Christensen can replace Terry, however, pogba would bring us something unmatched. RLC has potential but in haven't seen him much (cheers Jose)
I also feel Signing Pogba won't hurt RLC's growth

I think we need a true right sided winger to give the team the right balance. Everyone comes inside or drifts out wide left leaving ivanovic to have to cross or get to the by line. He try's his best but he's no dani alves. Reus, Sanchez or maybe pedro who I think doesn't get the credit he deserves. That is what I think is needed now, but don't get me wrong I would love pogba to be playing next to matic for next season. I would put pogba down as a must signing even at the quoted £60m. Most of which could be raised by selling Ramires and schurlle.

That's incredibly tough. Based on immediate needs I would go with varane since we've already got a great midfield three. That said if I'm starting a team and get the option I would choose pogba. Perfect scenario buy Pogba and sell Oscar to fund Varane. No sweat right?
For me it would definitely have to be Pogba. RLC has immense potential but is still at least a year or two out from being what we need. Pogba would also be a massive step up from Mikel and Ramires. Also if we can dominate the midfield and up front we can get to a point where perhaps defense will not necessarily be needed.
Whereas in defense, should Terry need to be replaced next year, I feel that we have enough with Zouma, Cahill and Iva to not need to strengthen there. Plus the likes of Kalas who has shown that he has the potential and ability to step in should he be required.
