A move for Danny Ings, as suggested in the press over the weekend, would be interesting.

A home grown talent, England U21 striker who has definitely thrown his hat into the ring for a full call up; and looks comfortable hitting the back of the net in the Premier League. He's also free at the end of the season so there wouldn't be much of a financial risk either. Only concern would be if he would fit into our style of play.

Well worth a rolled the dice for me, it'd be a signing with a lot of potential upside.

Ed do you know anything of these rumours?

Well there was an evening with a bottle of rum that I don't intend repeating for a while! But seriously we've got out FFP sorted out but our home grown quota is concerning as are the depths of our striking department.

I've got a feeling neither Drogba or Remy will be in our squad next season. I have faith that Solanke will come through but not for a couple of years yet. I think Ings would be a decent signing for the squad.

Agreed we need an English 3rd choice striker, and a second or third choice English keeper.

Bamford

Agree with Aron. With as much as we play our 2 reserve keepers and 3rd striker they really should be homegrown to help with quota. Replacing cech in the summer will be interesting.

GK: Butland and Blackman. I'd give Solanke 3rd choice the lad scores for fun.
