Well, guess I could've expected the game to be like this. Yet I'm still a bit disappointed with how it went. We created nothing apart from the goal and were lucky that Cavani forgot how to finish that huge chance.
Most blame the Cavani goal on Cahill, some perhaps on Terry. Cahill mistimed the attempt to head the ball, Terry wasn't marking anyone and neither was anyone else actually. Cavani was perhaps the only attacker in a dangerous position yet nobody picked him up. Bad defending from our part. Luckily Courtois played really well and made some good saves.
Oh yeah, how many fouls were Luiz and Verratti allowed to make today? God damn, they fouled Hazard everytime he touched the ball, still no yellow card till late in the game. We weren't very good going forward and the persistent fouling definitely wasn't helping our game. I seriously despise Verratti. Must've made more than 10 fouls on his own today, shocking stuff IMO.
That said, we didn't play well yet got an away goal and a draw. Small advantage but an advantage nonetheless. Hope for a better game at the Bridge and let's finish them off. We're better and we should show it!
