What does everyone think about Sissoko from Newcastle as a Pogba alternative? Because I'm more of a promote Loftus-Cheek instead of spending 50m on a player. Box to box, versatile, strong, powerful, chips in with goals. Surely better than Ramires or Mikel and he wouldn't be very dear. Could be a good squad player.

Sissoko is a good player. Yet I have a feeling that if he were to play for Chelsea that I'd find him a frustrating one as well. Don't know why but that's how I feel. We should either buy top players, top talents or promote from within. I don't think we need to spend on decent players or players that are just good, but no more than good.
Hahah Ed, I've only seen a couple of Youtube videos but he looks a very talented player! Would still prefer Koke or Pogba but I wouldn't mind Andre Gomes at all :)

Papers say we'd have to pay more more than £28m ed? Tbh I haven't seen him play so if you think he's good enough then I wouldn't mind him, but for that sort of money I'd rather just spend more on Pogba/Koke. Did Juve reject PSG's bid for Pogba?

Think we might see Pogba moving to PSG with Verratti going in the other direction. As long as Pogba doesn't join any domestic rivals then I don't mind missing out on him all that much. Koke could turn out just as good.

What type of player is he Ed? I've never seen him.
{Ed018's Note - to me he has it all. He's tall, got a good burst of pace and is skillful. I don't want to say he's Pogba but he is similar.}

Good enough for me, let's get him. He's young, compliments both Matic and Fabregas plus cheaper than Pogba.
Any one of the three would be good. As for Sissoko no. Another average player we can do without.

I'm with ELI, Sissoko is not better than Mikel or Ramires, and I'm no fan of Ramires.
Sissoko is playing reasonable well at a Level where he's good at, he'd be a solid squad player here yes, but isn't that what Mikel and Ramires already provide?
If were going to reinforce midfeild, make it worthwhile, we can use what we have or within the squad instead of spending 15 million on another average squad player.
It's a no from me :) never seen Gomes however

Hmm we could never know could we? If he would come to ys I wouldn't be upset as I believe that he would be a great upgrade to Mikel, but if we look at the other side of the coin I really believe that ake or rlc can easily take mikels place, by the way ED's are we going to let mikel go? I just really really don't like him probably even more than I didn't like benayoun
