It's so annoying to see us linked with these wingers in Anderson and Douglas costa. They're decent but we shouldn't sign another one unless they're world class I.e Reus, Muller. Especially when we have good players out on loan and good youth players in Traore, Izzy Brown and Boga.
I do like the look of this Andre Gomes though. Especially if it meant getting rid of Ramires and Mikel.

About the winger situation. I really want Traore back, he's very mature IMO so I think he could deal with the pressure.
To be fair to Anderson I think he's a very exciting player. I have a higher opinion of him than of Dybala. I've got no opinion of Costa so can't comment. But I really want Traore back.

Let's hope he can get a WP and feature in our squad next season.
{Ed018's Note - to add to the earlier comments. Anderson and Dybala I'd be fine with, although I do want to see Traore with Chelsea next season. Douglas Costa no thanks. Sure hope that gets reconsidered}

Our 4 current attacking midfield options are hazard, Cuadrado, Oscar and Willian. I'd imagine we are targeting Anderson or costa as salah's replacement. Yet with it looking as though the HG SITUATION will change to at least 7 it makes me wonder why we can't let Izzy Brown replace him seen as he had such few minutes.
Apparently Fabregas and Mikel won't be allowed to be classed as HG now either.

Seems difficult to get rid of two midfielders to buy a winger. Surely a new winger comes in because we need a bigger squad. Ramires and mikel need to be replaced with central midfielders.

Fabregas, Matic, RLC and Gomes would be quality but there's not really a proper holding midfielder to back Matic up so I'd either put Ake as 5th choice or even keep Mikel just as long as we're not being negative and bringing him on in big games. I don't mind him playing in the capital one cup and Fa cup against lesser teams he actually adds a bit of experience.

I fully agree with Ed018. Sell Ramires and possibly Mikel, then fill those 2 spots with RLC and Koke/Pogba/Gomes. That'd be my ideal scenario. Perhaps keep Mikel if he's willing to play limited minutes. But RLC has to be put in a position where he gets the chance to earn minutes.
Then buy a world class centre back and some smaller buys to fill up holes in the squad (like a replacement for Remy if he were to leave and a replacement for Luis if he leaves).
