Talking to a mate who is an arsenal fan, we were talking about cesc and he described him as a half season player. Trouble is in light of that comment he may have a point, however the same could be said of Oscar over the last two seasons.
It appears worrying, wondered what others thoughts were on subject

Well, many Barca fans have said the same thing. That his form just drops after New Year. And it seems like the same has happened this season. Let's hope he gets it together and starts playing up to his ability again. We need him and Matic to play well, they're the engine.
Same with Oscar. He makes the team play so well when he's on fire, but he seems to have trouble maintaining his form.
They have to get it together. They can't just disappear for a couple of months every season. I love Oscar and I don't want him to be sold, but he has to work on consistency.
