With united signing Depay, it leaves us right open to get Bale? For the right price I think he could be a wonderful addition, he could just be the final piece of the puzzle and Willian would be more than a decent back-up let's be honest we play lots of games and Bale those have spells out. Honestly think we should go for him or Griezmann ( who I think is more realistic), Willian has been good but we just need that sort of Hazard treat on the other flank plus Diego up top to go a step forward and challange the top 3 in europe.

I know it doesn't seem likely maybe that's why I went for Griezmann earlier but the more I think about it why not? His number 11 would be open, he gets to work with Jose, back in London and he'll be playing for the champions and know he is joing a group of winners. We should test the water with Bale if it isn't going to happen then definitely Griezmann.

PS. Love to know what you guys think, you too Ed018 if you have the time.

{Ed018's Note - I agree. A Bale or Griezmann would be an improvement on Willian as you are gonna get more goals and assists from those two. Move Willian centrally and let him fight it out with Oscar for that position, providing Oscar is still here. But I've been a been saying for a while that they need to improve the Rw position. I know a lot of people are always talking about Willians work rate, tracking back and whatever else that doesn't involve creating and scoring goals but a right attacking mid needs to be contributing with some goals and assists. Don't get me wrong though I like Willian and at this point he is playing better than Oscar}

Willian can offer a lot to the team in a number of positions which seems to be a preference for the club of late. He never has been an out & out winger in his career, but he can certainly offer a regular 7/10 performance when called upon. When played in the middle he's a much more influential player. he ran the show for Shakhtar in both games against us in Europe.

Bale would definitely be a dream signing. HG, a good age, very direct and his experience at one of the biggest clubs in the world would be invaluable and would fit the winning mentality being established in our squad right now. The only concern
I would have is not the transfer amount, rather the enormous wages he'd command - would have abig impact from an FFP perpsective (whether or not that's a serious issue remains to be seen).

Trouble is bale is not coming don't Matter who utd sign

{Ed018's Note - way to offer something to the discussion Pinky}

I would love it if we could sign Bale. Unfortunately, it seems unlikely, the transfer fee combined with the wages is going to be pretty expensive, and I feel like we need another quality CM as well. I would go for Griezmann and Koke/Gomes instead

Bale would be good, but wiuld he hit a top form.is another question. Big money transfers doesn't seem to work very well for us :)

Ed018, are we dumping Cuadrado then?

{Ed018's Note - no, but it's pretty clear that Cuadrado is no improvement on Willian. I don't doubt that he will improve next season but Bale and Greizmann are both better players. And I get that we aren't gonna get them it's just for the sake of discussion}

Aron you really don't understand football as a game. The only reason that Bale could possibly leave Real is CR7 and some kind of issue among those two. Club which gets Bale will dominate next five years.
Not to mention economic side of the deal. If club wants to make a lot of money by selling jerseys etc is to have big stars. Last year we made 100m£ MCFC 147m£, MUFC 168m£ and PSG made 248m£.
It is very important who we sign.
Comparison between Bale and Griezman is ridiculous. One is already mega star and the other one is very promising young player with one fantastic season behind.

Griezmann has scored over 20 league goals for an Atletico side that isn't exceptional in attack (IMO). I think that is very very impressive. Bale is very good as well but I'm a big fan of Griezmann and keeping prices in mind I'd be more in favour of getting the Frenchman.
Though my absolute preference would be bringing Traore back from loan.

Jackson, Traore will probably be loaned to Portuguese club Setubal.
Griezman is 24 and Bale 25,just compare their careers up to now and both players physical abilities as well as PL experience.

I just believe Traore has the ability to become a world beater, that boy is class. If he gets loaned out again it should be a more challenging one than in Portugal. Germany would be good for him IMO as it's similar to the English one in terms of style of play. I don't see Portugal as a step up from the Eredivisie.
