I think our u21's would of put up a better performance than that. Fair play to west Brom though. Filipe Luis and Cuadrado just aren't doing anything for me. First of all if we sign a left back it needs to be someone first foremost who's excellent defensively and for me that's Coentrao. Quality defensively and mourinho loves him too.
One positive I though Loftus-Cheek was very good again can't wait to see him get more confident and burst forward more.

Yes I'm looking forward to him gaining that confidence and pushing further forward. Once he knows he belongs in the team I think we'll see it a bit. You can tell he doesn't want to upset mourinho at the minute by getting caught out of position

The only reason he doesn't play is because Marcelo Offers a bit more going forward. Start watching football a bit closer and you might see something different from your armchair.

Marcelo is better both defending and going forward I read in one of mourinhos biographies that at Madrid the only weak link in the team was coentrao iv watched him enough of times to no he wouldn't cut it in the premier league I would gaurentee you he wouldn't be good enough he is like luis gets lost at times decent going forward he wouldn't still be rotting at Madrid if he was much good they tried to flog him in January even on loan an for what ever reason the United link fell through
