MU signed Schwensteiger and very soon they will sign Schniderlin first LvG goal is done they have their number six.Allegedly they've agreed to sell DiMaria to PSG and that could mean Bale signing. If that happens and they sign at least one good striker (Benzema or Benteke) we stand no chance competing with them next season with our current squad.
Signing Falcao is a mystery. The player almost never played as a single striker in his previous clubs (except Monaco where he wasn't so impressive). It is true that Mourinho played 4312 in last four games. Maybe that's the idea and in that case signing Falcao makes sense.

Excellent observation and similar to what I have tried to express. Therefore we must be confident that something is going on. With the best will in the world "Barcelona star". Pedro. hardly a star and we do not want another panic buy like Cuadrado. I still think we'll get Paul Pogba. going out on a limb to be shot at!

Signing 3 or 4 big names guarantees nothing! Look at real Madrid, on paper the best squad in the world yet won nothing last season. it's about getting the right balance, the right system & the right blend, Man city had the best squad on paper last season & won nothing, we had the stability & organisation as a unit! no doubt united will be a much better team next season but I'm not overly worried about them in my opinion, Arsenal on the other hand I am fairly worried about if they can land a top class striker, falcao might surprise a few people, played with Costa before & I've no doubt mourinho will get the best back out of him

I disagree with opinion that Falcao was a flop at MU. He did scored only 4 goals but you have to be aware that he didn't really play much due to injury and whole first half of a season LvG was trying to find a game. When we played against MU at home Falcao was their best player on the pitch. We were very lucky to win that game.
I can agree with Mourinho that Falcao was some kind of a victim while MU was struggling to find the game.
He could be totally different player at Chelsea.

Totally agree with situation88, it's all about balance and strength in depth and Chelsea worked it well last season. The key this season could be, the quickest out of the gate. The two Manchester's I am sure will take time to gel, with Arsenal being the early threat but the title will be won by the games between the top four or five. I thought Falcao was an astute deal and Manchester United never played to his strengths whereas Chelsea's game does. However, as we all know we need a goal scoring midfielder so we are all holding our breath!
