It's only pre season but my god do we look poor. I really hate the fact we play 4-2-3-1 every game without a plan B. We play two holding players but yet we are being ripped apart by PSG who are not close to the standard of barca/Real Madrid, so I'm confused on how we think we can compete with these teams in champions league.Again it is only pre season but it's frustrating to watch us play so bad. Zlatan should of seen red though for the elbow on terry and Moses looks bright with begovic pulling off some good saves. There about the only positives from first half so let's hope for a better second half.

Still a month to go before we are really underway and so much can change although the match against Arsenal could be telling if we are soundly beaten. What worries me at present is the lacklustre defence which is our anchor and somehow the other teams have looked quicker than us by a couple of yards. Like many I hate pre-season games as everyone and everything is being tried and tested but so far we have looked decidedly average in our testing!

Fully agree with you. Mourinho is unable to see weaknesses at his squad and he repeating same mistakes. Ok it's a preaseason but Chelsea really needs 2-3 top players so we can be able to compete with teams like Bayern, Barca or Real. With this boring defensive and at the same narrowing 4231 formation we stand no chance against big teams.
Mourinho has to change something if he intends to defende PL title or to avoid playing fringe role at CL.

Mikel and matic in midfield doesn't work. Mikel I thought looked terrible, he should be sold. You can't have a midfielder in a two man midfield who dwells on the ball so much and for so long. It needs to be passed out a lot quicker. But all in all lack of team movement. Azpilicueta was everywhere, he must be steal transfer think we paid like 7 million for him.
