Alright guys and Ed.

Bit of a fun post. Who are the 5 best players in the premier league you think in order from 1 to 5?

Mine are?

1) Aguero
2) Hazard
3) Sanchez
4) David Silva (he would've been higher but I think he only does great when he has pace either side of him.)
5) Diego Costa

If I also went from 6-10 it would be:

6) Yaya Toure
7) Courtois
8) Coutinho
9) Kompany (When on form best defender in league for me.)
10) Matic

{Ed001's Note - I would go:
1. David Silva
2. Sanchez (the work rate alone turned Arsenal from struggling to break top 4 into a team fighting for 2nd)
3. Aguero
4. Hazard - I think you could really put these four in any order and make a good argument for why though to be honest.
5. Matic

Agree0 Disagree0

1= Aguero, Hazard
3 Sanchez
4 Silva
5= Toure, Matic
Any of these players (on form in Toure's case) out of their teams leaves a huge hole which affects the teams results.
TBH Man City look fantastic so far this season, however any one of their three being unavailable/injured will have a huge impact on their season as it did last year. We could, I feel, deal with Hazard being out injured, The Arse could keep getting results without Sanchez, but City are stuffed if any of those three are injured or out of form, therein lies their archillies heel- see last season! My prediction (much as I hate to admit it) is that if City have those three on the field and in form they will win the league in a canter this year. However Toure's birthday is coming around and if he doesn't get a cake this year again it could be all over for them. Poor little "precious" footballers!
All toungue in cheek, I still think we can win it again, however I really do believe that Toure's form is the difference for City, so maybe he should be higher up my list.

1 Jonathan Walters
2 john obi mikel
3 Balotelli his work rate alone turned Liverpool from a CL team into a Europe league team thanks Mario
4 Cuadrado it was like watching a new born horse on roller skates trying to dribble a rugby ball
5 mezzitup ozil the Torres of North London looks great on the ball until a player or goal are in his sights and those massive tarsiers eyes just get blurred
But seriously

1 aguero or hazard aguero gets to many injuries
2 costa work rate and his annoying just makes me laugh
3 kompany
4 dave always consistent
5 silva but to lightweight in big games my opinion would be 3rd

{Ed008's Note - LMAO Balotelli turned Liverpool into a Europa League team you really are deluded.

1. Aguero
2. Silva
3. Sanchez
4. Hazard
5. Yaya Toure

Aguero no 1 Sanchez no 2 hazard no 3 David silva no 4 David de gea no 5

25 Aug 2015 12:03:15
I wouldn't put Sanchez in the top 5. After watching him more closely last season I don't think he's on the level of e.g. Hazard and Toure.

To the turtle guy I was merely make a joke of what ed08 said about sanchez in above post I am well aware that Balotelli wasn't alone in lfc second rate season under cfc youth team coach it was a joint effort they were all rubbish especially the transfers, who was on that board
Jimmy tarbuck
Stan boardman
And the cast from bread
They wanted replacement for suarez
And bought ricky lambert lol it was a joke about the worst players in premium in my opinion including a chelsea player but typical lfc fan over sensitive

Turtle guy lol

25 Aug 2015 13:58:30
Serious about Sanchez Jackson? That is a huge surprise he was outstanding last season his work rate and goals carried arsenal through a lot I thought he's a top class player in my opinion and top 5 all day long I think he would get a game with any team in the pl

25 Aug 2015 13:59:04
Plus I think we all agree last season ya ya toure was absolutely woeful

25 Aug 2015 14:15:25
1 Hazard. Consistently won his team the big games when they needed him to.
2 Sanchez
3 Aguero. If he played a full season at 100% he would be #1 but he only plays 80% of games a year.
4 Matic. Best defensive mid in the game. The fact that cesc can play in a deep lying position next to him shows how good he is.
Beyond those guys you could very easily argue for any of de gea, silva, toure (held his team back last year but when he's on he's unplayable), kompany, costa (misses too many games), Terry (if we're going off last year). For example Dave is the best fullback in the world but he isn't a match winner like some of the previous mentioned.

gianfranco gola, I take your point but would point out that Costa was out injured/suspended for a fair time, Matic was suspended and although always there Hazard's form did dip a little towards seasons end (due to fatigue I feel) but we still won the league. City with the same problems did not maintain any consistency. Herein lies the difference between the two clubs(you can lump The Arse in here as well) Jose plays tactical winning football not "beautiful" football and has it over all the other managers in the EPL in that regard.
Is it a coincidence that, although bitter enemies on the pitch, Jose and Sir Alex were great mates off it as they realised when looking at each other they saw themselves.
I hated Sir Alex with a passion, because he was theirs not ours. We have the next Sir Alex in Jose, and he's ours.
