Anyone have the feeling our season depends on whether we get a Pogba or someone to shore up the midfield? I think if we don't get someone in we can forget about challenging in the champions league this season but if we get Pogba or someone we could easily be challenging come may.

Totally agree with what u saying but still also think we need a solid centre back terry and Cahill for me just not gud enough don't no what's happen to them it's a weakness also ivanovic lost all his pace makes us even weaker. Dave needs to be at right back Rahman left zouma and another stones/garay. But like u say that midfield area is just as important we need someone in there to help matic at least the positive thing is the club are looking to bring a centre back and a centre mid in just hope the have back ups if the number one targets don't work out because like you say if we want to push for champions league what we have isn't good enough

Pogba or no Pogba, Chelsea will not challenge in the CL this season. All the english sides will be out before the semi's

One man doesn't make a team sadly. We all know he would give the team an improved boost and this week will be l-o-n-g and full of brinkmanship from all parties. Personally I wish we had also got Griezmann as he would have given us that added firepower. I just hope that if we look like failing anywhere there are no panic buys.

Totally agree Nibby01 that's why I mentioned G as that is an area I think we fall down on but under the circumstances Pogba would add great deal although I am still not sold on Pedro long term once his style is worked out by the Lee Cattermoles of this world.
