So RM has stated that Everton will reject John Stones transfer request in the morning. I really don't see them rejecting the next bid. A possible 36m bid, really. Kenwright and the board will snap out hands off for that surely.

What has made me laugh is tomorrows daily mirror stating we'll spend 159m by Tuesday on stones and pogba. Were do they get there info.

Guys can you really see us landing the French one?
And who thinks stones will happen?

I have read on the utd page that one of the ed's seems to think stone's is heading to us.

Feedback welcome.

Thanks to all the eds for there support

Calm down mate, you currently have a want away 21 year old that's worth £36 million to us surely youd be stupid not to sell.

Martinez is an idiot and a hypocrite, their club have been busy behind the scenes since the start of the season, while he's been complaining about the transfer window still being open, lining up replacement/additional CBs while also trying to weasel Barnsley out their 15% Stones sell on value. If Everton rejects Stone's request to advance his career at a bigger/better club for a more than fair offer and force him to stay when he clearly wants to come to Chelsea they will regret it. Rm saying today some rubbish about 'money not buying everything', where has he been? Why are the top clubs where they are and continue to challenge for trophies year in year out?

Bluelab, not sure there is any truth in trying to do Barnsley out of 15%. If, and it is a big if, Stones leaves us I'm sure we will honour the agreement in place.
I think Chelsea have backed us into a corner and been a bit underhand with their pursuit of the lad. The day before your first bid he was interviewed saying how happy he is with us. He will be happy once again, if he stays, when this all blows over. RM has put his neck on the line by saying any request will be rejected and that he is not for sale. If the board don't back him on this then he may walk, I can't see them letting that happen. If he continues to progress this season then he will have more than one option come the summer, an auction would be more attractive to our board believe me! The fact that is little time left in the window, coupled with not yet replacing the two CB's we lost in the summer, may shelve this deal for now. I think we will see it dragging to the next window.
With regards to RM's comment on money, with the amount of cash the tv rights generate, clubs like us don't have to bow down to the sheiks or the oligarchs of this world as much. We can turn down obscene offers for players if we feel the player is important enough.

Its just sour grapes from everton as we ripped them off over lukaku who is at best worth 5 mil. Let us have stones, he wants to win tlophies, he ain't getting that round there.

No offence bacon Barry but what planet are you on and in what dimension is lukaku worth 5 million? I'd take him back if he was worth that. He's a young bloke with a hit of an attitude and bags of talent. He's no balotelli that's for sure

Good shout Spudv but I disagree that we've been underhanded in our pursuit. Questions were asked by media after the first bid became known concerning interest in Stones which is what a bid means anyway, that is not uncommon nowadays and after Martinez threw his little tantrum over it we've been quiet. If anyone's being underhanded it's Everton who didn't come out and definitely say no move for the player under any circumstances, instead they reject bids and keep adjusting their valuation of the player while your little manager barks nonsense. And as far as Stones being happy before I'm sure he was happy at Barnsley too before you lot showed interest that's how football works.
