First time in history a player wins "Man of the match" and gets a 3 game ban in the same game.

Ha ha love it.

Agree0 Disagree3

This is as good as you're season gets mate. And youve posted on here about 4 times today. Are you in a sexless marriage or just lonely?

22 Sep 2015 20:41:14
I'm glad you're so pleased, dagenham. Lovely of you to come post this on here. But I'm genuinely curious to know your honest opinion about this. Don't you think it's pretty ridiculous of the FA to let Gabriel off the hook for KICKING out at another player? Sure he might've been provoked but that shouldn't excuse his action.
Last season Matic got a ban for retaliating against Ashley Barnes (think it was him) after Barnes' horror challenge that could've easily broken his leg in several places. He got a red for that, and rightly so, although you could understand his reaction when taking the horrible challenge on him into account. Now Gabriel kicks out at Costa but because he was provoked perhaps it's allowed? Isn't that ridiculous? FA are now sending the message that it's okay to do for some players, but you can be damn sure that if Gabriel were a Chelsea player that ban would've been upheld.
Again, I'd like your honest opinion. And if you're only going to come on here to gloat then feel free to stay away. I'm pretty sure that we'd be able to get on without your contributions in that case.

Quality Eden. Just classic deluded Arsenal fans, was watching the game at a pub on Saturday and an arsenal fan said cazorlas second yellow wasn't a yellow, almost fell off my chair in amazement!

22 Sep 2015 20:52:48
Ah, another Chelsea poster comes out of the shadows.

You are incorrect on both my friend.

It's called banter mate and this is a banter site, but you lot can't stand anybody who throws a few truths at you.

Looks like your sugar daddy has not only bought titles but has made you lot very very spoilt.

I know lots of Chelsea fan's, all good lads who can take banter as its meant, shame you lot aren't the same.

Come over to the Arsenal site, at least we show other posters a little bit of respect.

RESPECT. Google it.

22 Sep 2015 20:55:27
Well at least we know the FA take no notice of Mr Wenger, because he said Gabriel deserved to be sent off. The FA Have set a dangerous precedent, because they have in fact said that you can be banned (or sent off) for trying to get someone else sent off. Think Beckham has grounds for appeal against his sending off in 1998 against Argentina. Simeone enticed him to kick out.
Please don't have a go at Dags, he talks sense (most of the time) and I am sure we would be the same if the roles were reversed,

22 Sep 2015 20:59:51
Magicaleden, he just wants follow a winning team. He clearly belongs to what I call the payout brigade.
That is he pays out each season to his chelsea mates as once again we finish above arsenal.
I will laugh having got off the sending off Gabriel gets a ban for the charge from fa.

22 Sep 2015 21:16:30
Dags, if that was meant for me then allow me to explain. I like banter and I'm always glad to read views of other clubs' fans as they offer different perspectives.
But I'm not really in the mood to read gloating right now as I'm pretty damn pissed at the FA because they really are one of the most incompetent organizations in all of sports. Complete halfwits. So I apologize if I overreacted, I'm in a pretty bad mood.
You didn't answer my question though. Do you agree that it's ridiculous that Gabriel is getting away with kicking out at another player? IMO what Gabriel did was worse than what Costa did. Costa hit Koscielny in the face and should've seen red there. But your player kicked out at another player, and that's even worse IMO. So honest opinion and views, Dagenham?

22 Sep 2015 21:27:28
Same dags I'm with jackson. I think we're all just a bit amazed on how Gabriel's gets upheld and Costa gets a three game ban, granted costas may have been worse and probably deserves it for a number of things he did during the game. Ill be the first to admit that he doesn't help himself but he's not going to change its just who he is I'm afraid but it's just the inconsistency of the fa which is getting to me mate.

22 Sep 2015 21:34:34
To be fair Jackson mate if Costa goes for the slap Gabriel can't kick hin, but given what happened in reality both should have gone.
I'm shocked by the FA accepting the Gabriel appeal but maybe looking at what happened after Gab went they decided Arsenal were punished on the day by having to play the second half a man short where as Chelsea actually benefitted from the refs mistake on the day.
I don't really know but I do wish it had finished 11 v 11 and we were talking proper football talk now.

22 Sep 2015 21:40:12
Dags you're becoming a little upsessed mate. I thought I was on the Arsenal page.

22 Sep 2015 21:51:53
Andrew,

I have been an Arsenal supporter all my life, season ticket holder for 48 years.

Your post is ridiculous my friend.

22 Sep 2015 22:35:28
Barks10,

I understand where you are coming from, but it has been proved by video evidence that Gabs didn't actually touch him.

It works both ways mate.
Like I posted earlier, Matic got a 3 game ban, reduced to 1 on appeal for his push on Ashley Barnes and Fabregas got a 3 game for kicking the ball at Chris Brunt, reduced to 1 game on appeal.

But, never try to understand the workings of the FA.

Inconsistent to say the least.

22 Sep 2015 23:48:36
Just because he missed doesn't make the offence any less of a red card. If that's the case then surely Costa in future can swing punches at players but as long as he misses then it's all good?

I'd be more likely to accept the decision if they reduced his ban like they did for Matic and Fabregas but they rescinded it. This is why some people cry conspiracy.

23 Sep 2015 00:02:55
Actually I like dags (apart his jokes on arsenal page) and gunner coming on this site, anyway costa got 3 game ban (which he deserved) and gabriel can still be charged by FA as he still.has hearing (if I am right).

Just leave this topic asside and move on, no point of calling everyone a$$holes or something else as we got 3 points and they have Wenger (couldn't resist :D)

23 Sep 2015 16:48:01
Dags, spot on there mate, will never be able to understand fa's decisions. Hopefully this will all blow over soon and we can all just concentrate on the game we love :)
