Hello lads, this site got really quite after our recent form, looking at arsenal page I seen a great debate about who would you take? Hazard or Sanchez?

Agree0 Disagree0

Hazard, though you won't see that under mourinho, he needs a move to real mead rid for his career, will actually be aloud to attack with out restraint.

Obviously I don't want him to leave though.

It's been a busy few weeks lately for me (and it's not going to change soon :( ) so that's why I haven't been around.
As for your question, I'd go for Hazard over Sanchez. Of course Hazard hasn't been in the best of form this season while Sanchez played really well the last 2 or 3 matches for Arsenal, but I'd still take Eden. When on form he's simply unplayable, causing havoc throughout the opposition defense. He carried our attack to the title last season after Fabregas fell off and Costa missed a lot of games and wasn't scoring frequently.
Sanchez is a very good player, but I feel you can still keep him quiet when he's on form. For example, I wouldn't worry about him much if I knew he was going up against Azpi.

i'd go with hazard aswell although sanchez is in fantastic form at the moment. When hazard is in top form he has such a huge effect on chelsea's game. He gets on the ball as much as possible and is really positive when he has it. His dribbling ability is 2nd only to messi in world football. He has a very low centre of gravity and never really gets knocked off the ball unless he's fouled. He's quality of pass is underrated, he can slide balls through the defence and switch the play accurately. His only real "weakness" is not shooting enough but that's simply not the player he is. While i think he would score more goals in spain, his game is well suited to the premier league.

I like sanchez as a player. He has a great shot, good work ethic and decent movement off the ball. His passing let's him down at times in my opinion. He just isn't as incisive as hazard. He is very quick but not as explosive as hazard. Overall hazard is more dynamic and has more scope to improve. Apologies for the essay but i think its a very interesting comparison.

agree with you lads, i would take hazard any day. When both of them are on their day i believe hazard has the edge over sanchez. Anyway both of them and aguero are surely best played in epl we have

thats a fantastic question. Eden is more of a creator while sanchez is a better finisher. They're both similar in that they're incredibly explosive and deceptively strong for their size. It's interesting because jackson mentioned sanchez can be controlled by a top level fullback like dave which i agree with. I would argue though the only thing that can stop eden is himself and we've been seeing that a lot lately, when he wants to take a game over he will but sometimes he just doesn't seem up for it and he's anonymous (which is something sanchez never is with his work rate). It honestly depends on the needs of the team. We need people to break teams down when they pack it in, arsenal need scorers.

true, t. K. The only thing that can stop hazard is himself. This season as well it's been noticeable. Often he's quite anonymous on the pitch, but then the last 15 or so minutes suddenly he goes into a higher gear and starts making things happen. It's happened a lot imo. If he could be more aggressive from minute 1 then that would perhaps make a big difference as too often we've found ourselves down a goal or even 2. I'm confident he'll reach his normal level again though :-)

the whole team was inconsistent this season and there has to be a reason for that.
