Blimey boys, there's a slump and a mega slump.
It's hard to put a finger on it, but I don't think it just falls at the feet of Mourinho.

You are obviously missing Coutinho, a terrific keeper, but in fairness, your defence are leaving Begovic open, time and again.

JT, a top defender and terrific Captain, is struggling and doesn't have the same effect on the team as previous years.
Cahill, very decent Centre Half, but only plays his own game, thus unable to Marshall the back 4.
Ivanovic, by his own terrific standards, woefully poor this season.

Fabregas was terrific last season, certainly up until Feb/March, since than, seems uninterested, as his '1' assist so far this season has proved.

Hazard, unbelievable last season, but this season has hardly effected any games in your favour.

Costa, again terrific last season, is suffering from your negative and slow approach to games, hence one goal so far this season (league), compared to about 10 goals at the same stage last season.

Oscar I like, but hardly influences any games.
Matic seems to have upset Mourinho, not sure why, but it shows in his game.

Willian, in my opinion, by far your best player, but can't win games on his own.

Mourinho is a terrific manager, I have always said that, but he needs to take the shackles off and let the team play.

You remind me of Utd under LVG, too tight, too rigid, too slow in your attacking play and too pedestrianised.

What would worry me, if I was a Chelsea supporter, is can Mourinho change things.
Fantastic manager if top of the table, he can pick a team and a formation to stifle the opposition and avoid defeat, thus remaining top of the table, but can he change his team, and more importantly, his style of play to catch teams who are many points above them?

I'm not having a pop and I don't expect you to agree, just expressing my views.

Agree1 Disagree0

You're completely right though, Dags. All the players you mentioned bar Willian have been playing like ghosts of their former selves. I still fully back Mourinho. To me, he's the best in the business and while he has his faults of course, there's no manager I'd rather have to get us out of it.
Only thing that sometimes irks me is that when the starters aren't delivering the goods, why not try the younger guys? Traore, RLC and Baba IMO should get more time on the pitch.

I'd be supprised if you get a reply dags, they do a mourinho and refuse to do an interview in case the FA shuts down the Chelsea banter page.

I do believe that someone has posted on the conspiracy page "are the FA using secret black technology to control referees and give Jose the old heave ho"

They should be ok because the kgb are involved now

Enjoy your Sunday.

They will reply Growbun.
Jackson is a top boy and loves a bit of banter and MagicalEden is the same.
I upset a few of them last month with my Gabriel/Costa comments, but they knew where I was coming from.
All good banter at the end of the day.

Your lack of faith in me is disappointing, growbun ;-)

Ha both posts were printed at same time, mine wasn't a reply to you mate, just wanted to get the bit about black weapons in there lol.

Come on growbun that's unfair mate!

Some of us are. Okay.

01 Nov 2015 12:25:29
Are. Okay ;)

Dags, I don't think our situation would be helped by having Coutinho in goal! And Klopp might be not be too pleased either!

01 Nov 2015 13:55:22
Sorry Mrs Costa,
I meant Courtois of course :-)

I agree with you here dagenham, mou clearly sees that something is wrong. with the team. but keeps. playing the same bunch of people. FFS just throw young guns in the game, you can't become worse if you are worst already.
