Sad times fellas! Very sad times!

Bit of a poll/question thing

Agree if you feel mourinho should stay!

Disagree if Mourinho should be sacked!

Agree13 Disagree11

Really can't believe any Chelsea fan would want him sacked. We are in a huge slump but believe will be out of it, even stronger with Jose.

{Ed001's Note - who do you replace Jose with anyway? Who is there better out there to replace him? It seems crazy to sack him unless you have a better option lined up and I just don't see a better option. Only Ancelotti is out there that could really be considered better. Even that is questionable. I mean that could be brought in this season, so the likes of Pep Guardiola and Klopp etc can be effectively ruled out as replacements.}

Personally I'd rather see the big players at the club leave before we get rid of Mourinho. If they don't want to play they can F**K OFF.

01 Nov 2015 12:24:18
We'll said lads! I actually thought he jury on here was mourinho out! Glad to see I was proved wrong!

01 Nov 2015 12:58:11
I know it's a cliche but the question has to be whether Mourinho has 'lost the dressing room'? From what I'm hearing he has lost the support of a significant number of the players and it all goes back to his behaviour towards Eva Carneiro who was well-liked. The players lost respect for Mourinho over that episode and Mourinho's failure to apologise. As someone posted on here yesterday, you can't sack all the players so where does that leave us?

01 Nov 2015 13:14:56
So let's just sack a manager every 6 months to keep the players happy. Let's set an example and sell every player who is against Mourinho.

01 Nov 2015 13:22:20
Agreed magical Eden. Sack Jose and continue the circus we've been in for last 10 years.

01 Nov 2015 13:41:10
I think the problem is our tactics, we are do boring going forward and I can't see it changi g as mourihno is stubborn and doesn't give youth a chance! We lose all the games so why not put rlc and traore/kenedy on each game?

01 Nov 2015 13:45:13
But that isn't going to happen, is it? Unfortunately, the players hold the power. So I ask again, where does that leave us?

01 Nov 2015 14:01:32
And I've just give you the answer can you not read? Whichever group of players are against Jose should be permanently dropped then SOLD!

01 Nov 2015 14:04:00
Sadly if results doesn't change in next two games, there is nothing else but just to sack mourihno.

01 Nov 2015 14:36:28
Carlo is a better choice with this group of players. Sorry but Jose is ruining this side. Need free flowing attacking football. Not this petty stand still and pass. Wether u like it or not, Jose ain't the man to manage players like hazard, pedro, Matic. Fabregas, Oscar! Baba, cheek, Ramires. We need quick football, not slow negative boring football. I'm sick of watching lack of movement. It's like football u see 7 year olds play all running towards the ball.

01 Nov 2015 14:40:56
Can you not read: this isn't going to happen - the players will not be sold - so where does that leave us - with half a squad that don't want to play for the manager, that's where! I agree that it is ridiculous to keep changing manager every year or 2 but, if you read back through my posts, I warned that reappointing Mourinho would not be a positive move - he has sold Mata, Lukaku and De Bruyne because he can never admit to being wrong and now Hazard wants away - and Mourinho will never place any trust in youth so we will probably lose a batch of the younger players presently out on loan and keep buying experience like Pedro and Luiz! AND we will have to put up with boring, defensive, turgid football. That's my case for why Mourinho should go - what's your case for him staying apart from 'but he's a Chelsea legend'!

01 Nov 2015 14:59:31
Totally disagree with the Ed here. Sometimes change is enough to bring back a de-moralised Team back on track. It does not have to be another fantastic manager initially anyway. Jose must go and he will. He is the trigger and not necessarily the cause of a Club that is going backwards and moving away from the very thing it is supposed to be representing i. e. FOOTBALL. It has become a Business that happens to include football instead of a football club using Business to fund itself.

{Ed001's Note - good point.}

01 Nov 2015 15:44:39
My issue with sacking Jose is that I don't think our poor performances are solely down to players lack of faith in him. Some players are just shadows of themselves this season and I don't think a new manager will change that.

01 Nov 2015 15:59:35
I cannot defend Mourinho's persistent behaviour with the media but I do not accept that he has gone from a 'God like' status to scapegoat in 10+ games. It is common knowledge that his Father is ill and that is a concern for all in that position but those that know how dig deep into the web and see what else he has to contend with. Hazard, Costa, Carneiro, Ivanovic and Emanalo; true or false but enough to stress anyone.

01 Nov 2015 16:53:09
Mrs. Costa you have forgotten names like Schurrle, David Luiz and above all Ryan Bertrand ( our biggest problem is left back position-since Bertrand left he became English international) . You already mentioned KDB, Lukaku and Mata.

01 Nov 2015 16:53:44
I just want an attacking manager, it's hard to sit through 90mins even when we win so defensive, could you imagine Real Madrid wingers bursting a gut to get back and defend? Or Barcalona wingers, no Do WHAT ATTACKERS DO BEST = ATTACK! # hazard, costa, Pedro, Willian, oscar, fabreagas! Square pegs round holes! Stop defensive boring crap mourinho!

01 Nov 2015 19:35:54
With regards to Jose staying or going will probably be decided in next week or two. But I read above saying to sell players who are not trying or playing for the manager.
My problem with those players to my mind are a disgrace. All these players are handsomely rewarded by the club, and idolised by the supporters. If they don't get on with the manager that's one thing but do they have no loyalty to the club or supporters. IMO opinion I agree that three or four players should be sold. I know ed said that would not happen, but when you consider those players that are not trying are possibly Oscar, matic, fabregas and sadly hazard. That is 150-160 million of anybody's money. That could get us 4-6 good players who work and do a good job. And show us and the club some loyalty.
Very sad thought after last year but I cannot believe those four players being as bad as they have without a little bit of intent to do so.

Kevin de Bruyne (Been on fire at Wolfsburg and Man. City)
Juan Mata (Has been one of United's better players since moving)
Andre Schurrle (Has been brilliant for Wolfsburg)
Mohamed Salah (Has been on fire ever since leaving)
David Luiz (In a DM role he was brilliant)
Romelu Lukaku (Scoring consistently for Everton and is better than Costa imo)
Peter Cech (Should have never accepted an offer from Arsenal, PSG or Juventus)

{Ed002's Note - There was good reason for 6 of those players leaving.}
