Just watched 21s against Tottenham.
There were some stand out players who imo would do well in first team squad. I thought Abrahams looked fast, very good passer and clinical. I know people talk about Solanke but Abrahams imo is way ahead.
The other player who I think would benefit is jay da silva. What a talent. And what an engine. As a 17 year old he had a great game against Townsend an established premiership player.
Also thought colcott did well.
Interested in opinions of others who watched.

Wouldn't be physically ready for 1st team football. It's a hell of a jump for the young lads. If they're that good, why aren't they at other clubs on loan?

We were always one step ahead of Spurs but the football was poor and of the nine goals few were particularly well taken with both keepers at fault. Not one player looked remotely strong enough to step up to Premiership football and as mentioned in other posts we have 'another' layer between them and the first team awaiting their chance.
