hey guys there's a really intresting video on the bbc news sport site. basically pat nevin putting his theory across that leicster may and probably won't be a one season wonder and that the monopoly for the big teams for top four is over and he makes some compelling points. i mean with all the money coming in now they have the cash to buy players and create depth. he's also right that the premier league doesn't attract that top level of players in world football but more so goes for the players in the bracket below problem being players the lower clubs buy are not that far off the bigger names we pay for but they pay quarter of price his example mas martial 60+ mil where west ham get payet 20mil and who would you rather have in your side? plus the bigger names like us, man u, city, arsenal all have to pay a premium for players just the way the market is he also explains because the gap between the quality of players is not that great having to play in Europe is now more of a strain then its ever been as proven in results this year and the final point he makes is the bigger clubs can no longer just throw money at the smaller clubs and take who they want when they want take stones everton could of took 50mil or a figure nearby and refused to sell. this being the case where do we go from here there's a lot that needs to change but is the quality of players we need still within our reach he makes valid points should have a watch.

I think West Ham could be here to stay. They've got a (very) good squad, they have a good amount of money and they'll have an amazing stadium to play at.
If they finish the season well and invest smartly, they could become a very good team. The Premier League will be very difficult to predict the coming years.

You will find that with the money coming into the premier league clubs like West Ham will in future have to pay vastly increased sums for oversees players like Payet just like the so called bigger clubs do now. Agents will make sure of that. Player wages will also rise sharply so once thinks plateau over the next few seasons you will find the usual status quo is restored.

true but untill that time the gap is closing in effect the damage has been done westham, spurs, everton, leicster, stoke are all now capable of top four and more.

Whilst I agree with most of the above points, I still think there is in all likelihood a gap between us and we will (and the 'bigger' teams) still be a more attractive club to join for the bigger name players and also the younger promising players who will have grown up supporting or admiring our clubs. Just my take on it.

It's questionable who are big names now. Payet is ATM definitely the most creative French midfielder. What to say about Kante? It doesn't mean necessarily that# expensive player will manage at PL.

exactly the point antibot the quality in players clubs can bring in now is almost even scale.
