Happy with the result and performance today. Fabregas was phenomenal, must've made 20 incredible through balls today and got himself 3 assists. Nice to see Hazard on the scoresheet twice and put in a decent performance. Pedro has started to look like an alright signing the last few months also (must admit I gave him a hard time at the start of the season) . Loved the chant from the fans at the end about beating Tottenham next week, hopefully the boys will listen and put in a top performance! I'd take a draw at this moment though haha.

Cesc is integral to our play and will be a key player for Conte as will Pedro who's high intensity play will suit Conte and the way he plays. Those two along with Hazard and Willian will be players the team is built around. Lots on here will disagree but mark my words it will happen.

Sadly G8 I have to disagree. We are all glad of the points but it was a wide open game and a spectacle for the crowd and it is that sort of game Fabregas is in his element but against the better teams when we have to dig in he goes missing and that is not good enough. I think he will be substituted far more next year than this. I still maintain that Rahman was a shocking buy and Pedro thrives when he is not under any pressure as happened yesterday and I would sell both in a heartbeat. We all enjoyed Hazard scoring his 'first' league goals but I did not see a stellar performance from him or anyone else other than Fabregas in a game made for him. Watching Begovic flap a lot yesterday and the mixed form of Courtois, what a shame we sold Cech.

Think you're being a little harsh on Pedro there, he's definitely good enough to be a squad player next season. And agree with your points on Cesc but he's still an integral part to this team. Hazard, whilst unspectacular, showed signs of improvement and (forget the goals) showed glimpses of his old self with the close control and dribbling. Agree with you on Baba Rahman though, he's been absolutely terrible. Has no positional awareness, poor 1 v 1 and is ok at best offensively. Such a shame we sold Luis. Courtois, provided his heart is in it and he wants to be here next season, will prove to be better than Cech. He's had a poor season but 90% of the team has this season so I think you're being harsh again. Can't wait for next season.

Saim: As I say often we all have a different perception of the team and players. I never saw Pedro as anymore than an impact player and to pay what we did to me was a waste although you could say our whole pre-season transfers fell into that category. Fabregas is an integral part of the squad to me rather than the team and if we get two of the suggested players then I think he will be a rotational player. Felipe Luis never impressed me as a defender but unlike Rahman he did get back and get in the way whereas Rahman invariably trots back, a habit Loftus-Cheek needs knocking out of him. With Courtois, I never felt he wanted to come to the Club and he has done well but his only asset over Cech is the fact he is very good coming out and catching the ball whereas Cech punched; as a shot stopper I think Cech was superior. All about perception. I sincerely hope we do not get our transfers wrong or our sales pre-season!

I don't think people understand how good Cesc is 1915. Yes, he's not a work horse or a warrior in midfield and I agree, he can't tackle but if you've played the game you will agree that those attributes are easier to produce than the measured passes and reading of the game the boy has. He is truly talented and with the right players around him will drive us forward.

G*: I totally agree his vision is superb and his touch is sublime and in that respect you can see the attraction but EPL is not all about having time on the ball especially in the big games and that's when I think he should be subbed if it is not going his way. To leave him on is when he becomes a liability. For all his failings Oscar can chase and tackle which old Fab just cannot do. My feeling is we may well buy two central midfielders which will put huge pressure on Fabregas.
