Just wondering what people's opinions are on Pedro ahead of next season. He's been very inconsistent but something tells me he will step up to the plate next season. He's capable of goals to which I like. We have to remember Willian started off really poorly in his first season. Starting next season with Pedro, Costa and Hazard up top wouldn't bother me, if we're playing 3 up top they all need to be capable of scoring, Willian cannot do that from open play he's turned into a dead ball specialist but he's still not good enough to start for me so why not sign that extra box to box midfielder I. e Naknggolan to play alongside Matic and Cesc and then let the front three concentrate more on scoring goals. There's no point wasting money on another Salah/ Cuadrado, we might aswell let Traore and Kasey Palmer have the back up spots.

If we buy a new attacking midfielder or winger, I'd actually try to sell Willian. He offers too little in attack for a top club. Sell him on the back of a good season for him when his price is high.
I'd honestly rather have Traore, Boga or Musonda starting over him (with a solid midfield on the pitch, so their tracking back is little less of a necessity) .

Jackson, if Conte decides to with 3 CBs Willian will be probably the first choice RWM, the main problem is Chinese interest in him so he might not be available next season.
Anyway we must sign at least 2 CMs since Mikel could be on his way out.

I think with Willian's work rate he could become part of a midfield 3, instead of playing wide right. Looking at the players we have now, I would prefer Oscar to be sold.

I simply don't think Conte will want to play with 3 CBs. He did it at Juventus because he had 3 very good defenders, we don't have that luxury. This season clearly showed that Zouma is the only real starting quality CB we have, and he's going to be injured for the start of the season.
We don't have the players for a 3 man defense.
