If you all have read some of my posts recently you'll know that I have a bit on a man crush on Icardi. Rumors that we've given up on Lukaku and will push to sign Icardi. This would make us that much more dangerous with Costa, Icardi and Bats. If this were to happen I think a CB would put us most certainly in contention for top 3, maybe even make a run for the title against the Manchester clubs. Would also prefer to see Manolas as our CB choice, looks like we are being held ransom by Napoli. Thoughts?

I think it's a bit wrong to say we are being held to ransom, Napoli don't need the money they just got £75 million they don't need to sell, they finished 2 nd in the league, and probably want to keep there best players, it is us who need a defender and want him, Napoli are thinking we don't want to sell him, make us a stupid offer we can't refuse and he's yours, so it will depend how much we want him and how much were willing to spend on him, I can't knock them for wanting to hold on to there players, think of it if Madrid bid for hazard, as a club we wouldn't want to sell but in the end if we did sell we would want the absolute most money we could get for him, that's the name of the game guys.

I completely understand the reluctance to sell but what upsets me is the owner playing games with the situation.

What has the owner actually said? , what games is he playing? , I haven't seen anything he's said about the situation?, other than he won't sell him and he will see out his contract, what else has been said?

He gave Chelsea a price to meet and they met it and he asked for me. If that's not games then I don't know what is. Cat are you just on here on a wind up?

Why would I be on here on a wind up,? That's stupid, I just think if someone tried signing one of our better players we would all moan, and want the club to reject it the same as Napoli have, I honestly have never seen any reports that he gave us a price then turned it down, hence me asking the question what's he done, what's he said? , you shouldn't be so touchy if someone don't agree with you, if you type your thoughts on here, for lots of people to read some will agree some will disagree, the key is don't think your a top football expert if you get a few agrees, and don't get upset or take it personal if someone thinks your point is stupid, it should just be a bit of harmless fun.
