Is there any truth in the Brozovic rumours? (Apparently Chelsea and Arsenal are interested)
He's a nice player, could mean Matic or Fabregas would move on perhaps?

Do you really think that Conte would give up world class player for good promising CM? Newspaper have to write something so they are writing all kind of BS(latest is about Fabregas). You are free to believe in Santa if you want, but try to think more realistic. Conte changed Chelsea significantly in tactical order(IMO on better).He wants to play with 3 CMs and 4141 is closest to his type of 352. IHO Oscar is fitting better than Fabregas but he probably has in mind that Fabregas has clinical pass and Oscar doesn't. So I believe that he will rotate those 2 players.
If we really sign Marcelo Brozovic(btw I like the player)all I can see is another loan for Chalobah. ATM we need left back and if there is any possibility left footed central back.

I think when we have the 3 centre backs on, Ie return of Zouma and a new signing, cesc will start a lot more. We will see how we start doing over the next month here on, we've had a good start but against weaker teams. We're going to need a creater against the likes of Liverpool, Spurs and arsenal. I think we'll struggle without his influence.

Well argued points one and all.
For what it's worth I don't believe in Santa, and I figured (given where the reports came from) it was just Brozovic's agent drumming up interest.
Regardless, I'm not convinced Conte will see Cesc as a starter and that may make him a restless player.
I think Matic will stay and play a lot this season.
