Hey Ed002 you said to remind you come the weekend about the possibility of putting a quick run through or targets and positions being focused on to last us untill the next sharkopod if you could find time today or over next couple days would be appriciated thanks.

{Ed002's Note - I have provided a lot of information.}

Agree0 Disagree1

That's true, only thing we haven't had is a rundown of the midfield and wingback targets.
Bakayoko- looking unlikely to happen due to price demands;
Tolisso- interest is there but strong interest from elsewhere Will probably make a deal difficult;
Golovin- still Young and largely unproven but he could be an option we turn to.

Something like that maybe regarding central midfield. I don't know anything regarding wingbacks though.

Holy hell, didn't know I was going to be that accurate. L'Equipe reporting that Tolisso wants to join Bayern Munich, and they've agreed terms with the player already. So that's Tolisso and Bakayoko gone as viable upgrades.
Think our midfield next year will look quite similar to the one this season, which is not good news.

Unless we go all out for Verratti Jackson ;) )

09 Jun 2017 22:12:28
Veratti would be the statement of intent. bakayoko and kante would be rock solid but they wouldn't score 5 goals between um all season i say so that wouldn't be d best feel wed need someone with more ability and assists dan bakayoko next to our kante.

First of all Jackson chill out. The most expensive Bayern player is Javi Martinez and his transfer was 40 million euros. They will never pay for player as much as Chelsea.

Fuser we won't go for Veratti, Veratti doesn't want to play in England. Italy, France and Spain.

Personally, I think that we will not lose Fabregas and Matic for sure. Neither Bakayoko or Tolisso would be an upgrade to Fabregas or Matic. There is a very precise statistical comparison and both Bakayoko and Tolisso are way behind both Fabregas and Matic.

If you think that Conte doesn't know that you're very much mistaken (you is general, doesn't apply to a specific poster).

Does Chelsea really need Alex Sandro? We have Alonso and we have Kennedy and Ake as potential LWB back up. Costa is greedy interested only in money.

I have a better question: who and when is going to mention elephant in the room?

Of course Ed002 is right players come play and also leave. THAT APPLIES TO ABSOLUTELY EVERY PLAYER. Including names like Hazard, Courtois or Willian (already connected with move to China year ago). Perhaps this summer transfer window could be more shocking than any other in last 10 years.

Unlike some I am quite certain that Chelsea will be stronger and better team next season.
Cheers everyone!

antibot: Chelsea have to be stronger and better next season. The team this year will struggle in Europe, just look what Arsenal did to us in the first half of the Cup Final, and given the intent of the two Manchesters and Liverpool, we will not win the Premier League unless we buy.

10 Jun 2017 15:23:36
Antibot, clearly you need to take a chill pill. I was joking about Verratti and we're talking to both Monaco and Lyon about Tolisso and Bakayoko so clearly Conte must believe they're improvements on Cesc/ Matic.
The only potential 'shocks' would be Willian leaving. I don't see either Hazard or Courtois going this window.

I find it baffling that you don't think any of the players mentioned are upgrades and yet believe we'll be stronger next year.

ive seen a lot of monaco this season 20+ games or highlights, Bakayoko is and will be a upgrade on matic 100%, the main thing being he's a better passer of the ball, that helps playing centre mid, bakayoko over 1000 passes last season and 820 of them went forward, he's 6 years younger than matic, has better vision, is just as strong if not stronger, he drives forward, im positive he will be a chelsea great, coming from someone who have watched more than just the juventus away game!

10 Jun 2017 18:31:39
I doubt tolisso is as good as people sat i haven't heard his name mentioned once all season and watched lyin v ajax over both legs he definetly didn't stand out. bakayoko would be a great signing is he a big upgrade on matic do we hope so.
