I basically agree with this (and I'd be very happy) I just don't understand upgrading Alonso and not Moses?
Maybe Alonso will be used in a slightly different role or a shuffle around in defence?
Alonso can play centre half maybe?

I just wonder if Conte is going to play Alonso as the left CB, so a back 3 of AZPI LUIZ ALONSO with MOSES rwb and SANDRO lwb (if he signs)
Looks a very good option to me and remember Conte converted Azpi to CB so I wouldn't be surprised to see the same with Alonso next season.

I expect Moses to start at RW back against less attacking team.
If opposition team is too strong then may be azpli to play at RW back.

I doubt we're getting Van Dijk actually. Soton are asking for a lot of money, which we're probably not willing to pay.

its a bit unfair on Alonso tbh . had a good season for us. hope he doesn't get pushed out.

Apart from Sandro, don't see great deal, or if any improvement, with costa going were weaker in attack, not the window I was expecting.
