I done some analysis on Emerson Palmieri. Firstly I must say my view on him has changed. The lad had a pretty good season 2016-2017.

His Roma career started really poorly but boy did he improve and therfore must have put in the effort.

Emerson's improvement was not only on the defensive aspect of his game, but also in the offensive one, just like any self-respected Brazilian full-back he can run, can pass, can dribble brilliantly, very technical, can defend and can even be a creative force within the squad. Honestly this guy is rapid and at that speed he can dribble. Fair play to him because from zero he became one of the first names in the Roma team sheet that year and made tha position his own.

His attacking stats in 2016/ 17 ranked him as the second-most creative and attacking full-back in Europe, behind Juventus' Alex Sandro - another one of our targets. He totalled - all per 90 minutes - 1.8 key passes, 1.5 completed crosses, and two successful dribbles. But for his injury he probably would have got a good move last summer. In comparison, Marcos Alonso, who is well-known for his attacking play, failed to complete any of the same actions at least once per 90 minutes during the 2016/ 17 Premier League campaign. Despite Emerson's strengths being predominantly offensive, he also won more tackles per 90 minutes than Alonso last term, and was dribbled past fewer times per 90. He is not as strong in the air and also won fewer interceptions than Alonso, but such an offensive player is always going to have a weakness when it comes to the defensive side of the game.

Mo Salah has recommended Emerson to Liverpool. Personally i would rate him higher that Alex Telles. This transfer could be brilliant for us. He is 23 and if we can get him to improve from 2016-2017 then we may have a very good player. His fitness is an issue but im sure we can sort that out.

Personally Alonso may have his work cut. On the ball this guy is better and will be a very valuable LWB. It should keep Alonso on his toe given that he lacks pace anyway.

He was apparently lined up as possible option for when Sandro moves to psg,

He was indeed a target for Juventus. Not only them because Liverpool also targeted him and their fans were raving about him. He is a very skillful player, if you think Kennedy had pace and skills then this guy is tons better. He can play as a LWB, Attacking winger, RWB and even CM. He potentially can be a great signing. Surely Juventus see the value in him, if he has 1 good season there then all of a sudden his a 60-70 mil defender.

No worries Gola. Honestly this guy can run up and down the wing at such pace. His so much more technical.
