Ed001, got another question for you if you're around and aren't sick of my questions yet ;-)
It's about our dear Eden. Ed002 has repeatedly stated that Madrid want to take Hazard in the summer. And knowing Chelsea, if Eden makes it clear he'd like to leave then the club will probably be open to dealing with Madrid as they have shown in the past they don't want to keep a player against his wishes.
Now we've seen guys like Coutinho, Ousmane Dembele, Neymar and Mbappe (next summer when he gets bought officially) go for over 100m. Eden is clearly a better player than Ousmane, Coutinho and Mbappe in my opinion, at least right now, and they all went for around 140m. Also in the past, I think I remember one of the Eds saying that Madrid baulked at the price for Pogba.
I just wonder, if they couldn't pay 100m + for Pogba, how do they expect to pay for Hazard, who should go for more than what Coutinho or Dembele went for? Do you see them using one of their players to send the other way (I'm thinking Asensio or Isco for example as they'd replace some of the things Hazard does)?
Ed002, I apologize for bringing finances into this. However, I'm not looking for any specifics regarding money. Just wondering whether Madrid will expect him to be priced at a reasonable sum (say below 100m) or whether they'd be willing to let go of Asensio for example in order to drive the price down.
