Hudson-Odoi could have even more confidence with 3 assists if morata Had got on score sheet. It's painful to watch but it's his confidence, Cavani for example and Harry Kane will miss chances but doesn't seem to affect them they always believe he goal will come, . Morata just needs to relax and let instinct take over. Has the tools.

the annoying thing is he's not rubbish. he gets in great positions its literally just confidence thing. shame really . hopefully sarri can be the man to pick him up.

Morata has the tools but he doesn't have any instincts to be a natural scorer. Being at a top club you simply can't have a ST who's too much of a confidence player and has poor composure in front of goal. I've praised him for having the abilities he has, movement of the defenders shoulders, ability in the air and decent link up but if you can't put away simple chances away as a ST, everything else means little to nothing. I mean how on earth is a ST unable to be good at penalties? It shouldn't be the case. We need Bats to start at ST, or get someone else in (Martial) . We simply can't rely on Morata to come good this season.

That was the problem last year we never killed games off and missed countless opportunities we need to be more clinical we could have been 2 or 3 up first half.

Hudson-Odoi is going to be a star and he needs to stay with us this season and develop with us. He's more than good enough to be playing in this squad. As for Morata, his confidence is completely gone. It's all well and good saying that he's getting in the right positions but if he's not scoring it doesn't matter. If this was just one game I'd understand but this is game after game and we just can't afford to trust him as our main man. Michy has to start the season as our number 9.

Only thing Callum needs to do, is be a bit more selfish in the box. He's good enough, so go yourself lad. No-one will have a go at you, especially Morata. And who was saying that he should be kept around? Torres MK2.
