Do you think we go from the most ultra defensive team ever to free flowing attacking football in 2 weeks get a grip
I watched last 30 mins and on occasion we played some lovely stuff yes no goal but the fundamentals were good
Defended well pressed well high up pitch some of the passing and movement was 100 times better than last year none of this passing around 18 yard line for an hour
Clear and decisive passing

I think the club has done brilliantly last few weeks first time a forward thinking attacking manager our targets are positive and some youngsters coming through
Have faith be patient and we could have some brilliant entertaining footy coming our way something we haven't had in a long time

Agree with the above posts. It doesn’t mean your not a fan if your concerned about how we are not creating enough clear chances. We again are in transition with the new manager and the late start due to World Cup so you can understand to a point. Napoli played a really fast flowing football and I’m confident sarri can get us to that point but I’m not confident we have enough pace throughout the team. At the moment the team seems a little split, the defence at times press but the midfield don’t leaving huge gaps for the cross field ball over the top. Their just seems to be a lot of space in midfield for the opposition but again the managers way of playing will take time. After all the years of sacking managers we need to back sarri as fans and as a club in transfer market as I’m sure not only us fans but the players will love the football sarri is trying to get us playing. There will probably be huge defeats and shock games throughout the transition but we have to back the players and finally trust the manager.

well what you call a troll is me being a realist mate we are still miles behind and the club are unwilling to strengthen the moment we got sarri my first thought was we need new rb and lb but nothing even close for either position we will be found out time and time again this year and the striker situation is embaressing we clearly need a new striker to compete at top level but as I have feared for quite some time we don't look like a club wanting to be the top dogs anymore like city just happy with top 4 if we can get it.

Loko haha Willian had an okay season and it was only highlighted as we finished 10th and everyone was so poor, he got around 12 goals and 7 assists AND THAT WAS IN ALL COMPS. and that was his best season, what planet are you on to think Willian has been our best player for last 3 years, hazard easily best 2/ 3 years kante constantly brilliant last 2, costa got us over the line with those vital 1-0 goals under conte, Azpilicueta was another stand out in that distaster Mourinho season he done well when other were terrible. Willian one of our best 😂😂 I think Willian can perform a lot better under Sarri than conte. but that’s because one plays attacking football and other doesn’t, I’m sure Azpilicueta got more assists than him last season 😂 playing CB.

All the above posts are borne out of frustration which most of us must be feeling. Whether we like it or not and regardless of what Sarri wants the team to do, it is not good enough in any permutation to win the EPL. We are seen are a major club and here we are with 48 hours to go having signed a 38 year old back-up goalkeeper and putting Jorghino to the side as he wanted to come with Sarri, and that is it, not impressive for a club with big aspirations. Regardless of who we 'might' sign by the end, a couple of days before the season starts is unfair on all involved. LondonBlue90 pointed out yesterday that our transfer business over the last three years has been woeful.

We will have all the ball against Huddersfield with this new system it just depends whether we can use it well. An early goal and I think we will cruise to victory. The longer it goes without one and I think we’re in trouble especially given Sarri has said Saturday is too soon for the World Cup players.

So by that logic European Portuguese and Barcelona player homes is also good enough. Willian got time for Brazil when Costa was injured and got taken off at half time, he is good, not great and by far nowhere near our best in last 3 years,

My guess is NO supporter of ANY team thinks that ALL the players at his or her club are world class.
If your very lucky you might have 2-4 top players with the remainder just class, average or workmanlike.

Matt I didn't say he was our best player I said one of our best players
I don't treat our transfer policy like FIFA ultimate team I'm more realistic could we improve in every area probably but we can't buy the best in the world in every position
So I support the players we have and get behind the team even real Madrid who won cl 3 times had weaknesses in there team goalie striker and left back.
