This is controversial, I understand that but - is there a place for Kante in this team, and should we look to sell him for a lot of money?

Here's my thoughts, we are bossing games from a possession percentage and territorial sense. Kante is playing most of his football in the final third, the need for him to cover a back four simply isn't present. Kovacic and Barkley have a clear role that suits them, Jorginho is excelling in his role - the same can't be said of Kante. Would someone like Fabregas or RLC be a better third man in the team? They'd certainly offer more guile and creativity.

Kante would be the first name on the teamsheets of 95% of teams in the world - should he still be there for our team and our new stlye of football?

Here’s a thought if Kante and Jorginho are both best at holding why not play 4-2-3-1 instead of 4-3-3? That way they’re both sitting back and we can play Barkley or Kovacic as the no.10.

It’s not so much about formation though king frank, there really wouldn’t be much difference at all.

Kante presses and wins ball back high and covers ground, it’s just a goal threat. I like Kovacic but if we had just one player from middle 3 who could play that final ball or goal then there would be no kante talk. maybe just trying to swap kante and Jorginho?

Kante is underused in the system and to be frank Sarri doesn’t play with a DM at the base. Kante is not spectacular in spraying passes like Jorginho nor really good in picking players ahead. He is no Hamsik either to score goals from the midfield. Going forward you will see very less Kante on the pitch.
