Great to see Hudson Odoi score a goal today. He also hit the crossbar from a beautiful long rang effort. unlucky. He should be given a chance.

RLC was fantastic today, unlucky not to be on the scoresheet today. I'm not sure why he doesn't play more often for us. Offers more than Barkley and Kovacic going forward.

I still don't know why we insist on Willian over Pedro. The comparison is silly, Pedro all day long for me.

Well done to Giroud. Clearly his brace fired up Morata who responded well, more importantly I liked the celebratio. If these two can somehow fire each other up by scoring goals then that would work a treat.

Nice to see Ampadu get some mins. Shout out to Emerson who again impressed me.

"I will keep striving to play for MY club". Loved that quote from CHO. He played brilliantly today albeit against a weak side with 10 men. Great performance from the young man though. Also said it time and time again but Giroud has to be our first choice striker. Even when he's not scoring he offers more than Morata for me.

I’d go with this side vs Fulham but obviously Sarri wont:

Kepa

Azpi Christensen Rudiger Emerson

Kanté Jorginho Loftus-Cheek

Pedro Giroud Hazard

Subs:

Caballero, Luiz, Alonso, Kovacic, Barkley, Hudson-Odoi, Morata.

I’ve had enough of Willian he’s brain dead. What is it with this club if you cost a big fee it means you must play? Emerson, Loftus-Cheek, Pedro and Giroud deserve starts. Christensen hasn’t impressed greatly but I think next to Rudiger he’ll be a much better player. And after Luiz jumping out the way of Kane’s shot I’m finished with him 👋 Terry would have dived in head first.

How can anyone in his right mind say that RLC gives more to the team then Barkley.

In my opinion barkley was in the exact situation RLC is now (thinking of himself way too good, rather than focusing on improving his game) .

Barkley already matured and is putting a shift in where RLC still needs to mature a little bit in my eyes.

Would like ed001 to give his assesment on RLc if possible (also compared to barkley)

{Ed001's Note - I don't rate Barkley at all, his problem is he would rather get bevvied with his mates than do any training etc. His touch was abysmal and his play no better because of it. All that has happened is that he moved away from his mate, but, imo, it is only a matter of time before he makes new ones and is at it again.

RLC is just a bit lazy for me. Great ability but couldn't be arsed to break sweat.}

Ed001, who do you think would be best suited for the forward most mid role for Chelsea?

RLC, Barkley, Kovacic, Mount or do we need to buy someone else?

{Ed001's Note - I think you have a lot of options there, RLC can do it, Kovacic is possibly the best current option, or you could drop Morata into that role. I would look to one of the youngsters myself rather than buy. They need a chance.}

I don’t think RLC is as lazy as people say he’s just a lethargic runner. Ballack wasn’t the most energetic was he? He just saved it for the best moments. Anyway the only way Loftus-Cheek will build his stamina is by playing full games in the league more often.

{Ed001's Note - it is the reason he is not being picked though, and by other managers, who have all cited that. So I am going to take their word for it. A player at that age should do more than just save stamina, they should be all out to get in the team and prove themselves by doing more.}

I agree Ed but even at Palace he never managed a run of games more than 4 he has been unfortunate with injuries. I just think the more he plays at a better level is the only way we’ll find out.

KingKante your selection is bold and one that I would not disagree with mate.

Its about time we give RLC a chance and that should be the minimum. With game time we will see improvements. The boy is class.

Personally, Sarri's Napoli team was so good going forward and his full back played a massive part. Emerson could fit the bill because he loves running at defenders and puts in cross after cross.
