Can't believe some people were criticising Ampadu last night and even Loftus-Cheek. Let's get this straight it was a NOTHING game so it's hard to get motivated. I think Loftus-Cheek has shown he is tactically improving and tbh I think he's going to be a force to be reckoned with once he gets more experienced. The lads a beast he's got it all. If we paid 50 million for him we'd all be raving. I'll continue to back him and when he comes good I don't want to see anyone changing their minds who've shot him down. Ampadu was unlucky I was so impressed how he got up and carried on the boys a born leader and he's going to be class I do think he needs a loan first though.

Very happy to see the youngsters and fringe players get a run out. Good experience for them.

A non-vital game is no excuse. They were representing the club and given an opportunity to show what they can do. Ampadu always catches my eye, calm and never bothered about the own goal; he is going to be very important to us down the line. Loftus-Cheek had another opportunity to grasp his chance and was OK but sloppy and until he improves he will remain a bit player. The other one under the spotlight was Hudson-Odoi and again he showed that he will be another star for us but in a years time. His inexperience shows at times as he tries to impress too hard and I think he tires over a hard 90 minutes.
