So much talk in the media about Sarri being pathetic, useless, stubborn, no plan B, players not following his instructions. More importantly predicting the sack and looking for candidates to replace him.

Guys its the usual yearly sacking manager carnival happening at Chelsea. Can't remeber a season go recently without the carnaval. 7 years and 7 managers in AVB, RDM, Benitez, Mourinho, Hiddink, Conte and Sarri. Pathetic stat. I blame the board for this stupid trend. Klopp, Poch, Emery etc have all had bad phases during their careers but there is never no talk of the manger being sacked because the club have created a precedent that it won't happen. Hoeever at Chelses its the opposite.

Anyway, Sarri is lucky we are playing Huddersfield. Immense pressure now, whole league watching us and want us to slip. Players are downing tools. We all know how this normally ends up sadly.

The media have got it spot-on for once. Sarri is a liability and needs to go but I agree that whoever pushed for him to be hired needs to go too.

It may be too early in his management career but Lamps is intelligent enough to handle it.

The media are never spot on, about anything. Just write whatever sells papers. Hazard is the real liability who needs to go; openly courts Madrid, says he doesn't care when called out by his manager to be more consistent, doesn't press, doesn't track back. I genuinely think Madrid will see this and not sign him and he'd crumble there anyway. Especially for what they'd need to pay to get him at 28 vs other options. Really interesting 12 months ahead and I for one hope the board grow a spine and put football before business for once and stick it out!

The LofZ, and where in the league would we be without Hazard's goals and assists this season? Possibly in a relegation 4-pointer against Huddersfield tomorrow!

01 Feb 2019 11:03:07
While that may be true, the reason we're still so reliant on Hazard is why we're in the position we're in, soon as he has an off game or decides he doesn't want to be here we struggle. If the board pulled their finger out and hired sarri at the start of the transfer window instead of trying to out negotiate ADL then we would have had time to get the players in he required to play his system in and we wouldn't be in this position or God forbid we could have just given Conte more time 🤷‍♂️.

LofZ, it's just not going to happen - look at the surprise on Sarri's face when he was asked about signing Pulisic - he even admitted that he was not involved in the signing at all! The Chelsea powers that be will not allow Sarri to bring in who he wants - they don't work that way. They have allowed him Higuain on-loan but made it very obvious that they have grave reservations - if Higuain doesn't work out, both him and Sarri will be permanently heading back to Italy come June.

Why are you talking out of your backside, Mrs. Costa? Sarri said the actual signing came as a surprise. He also said regarding Pulisic;

“The club asked my opinion about him one month ago. My opinion was positive and today I've known that the deal is done. "

He knew the club was looking at Pulisic, so much so that they directly asked him about the player.

Agree with Mrs Costa on this one. The CFC system should allow Hazard as free a role as possible; any good manager would organise team to play to strength of best player/ s.

He did say his opinion was asked for but implied he did not know the negotiations were going on and nothing about the loan back. You also have the reports that Granovskaia had reservations about both Higuain and Paredes. Since then Sarri himself and a number of reporters have highlighted what we already knew, Higuain was/ is unfit, Paredes we will never know about. There is certainly a disconnect at the moment with our managers and the Chelsea hierarchy, Mourinho, Conte and now possibly Sarri all suffered similarly, Mourinho and Conte both highlighting after winning the title that the team was not good enough to defend it. Fourth place is very important to us and you would have hoped we would have bought a striker (Vardy or similar) who would come in and hit the ground running but we are now waiting for our purchase to get fit!

Lamlars would get slaughtered by our fans after a couple of game. I’d love him to do well but our fan base is awful.

I’ve said many times I’m not a fan of Sarri and I didn’t want him at our club but for gods sake give the bloke and his methods a chance.

The media love to create a crisis about us and over the years our club has given them plenty of ammunition but lads, let’s try and rise above a media that has to find a story to sell a paper, or a pundit who is employed to be outrageous.
