Think the posts on here have been great and constructive enough.

But let’s be honest, the season is far from over, still so much to fight for. You and I know, heck every football fan know this results happen and will continue to happen to every team « big » or « small ».

We will bounce back, we are Chelsea.

ELI: Every blues supporter is muttering your words as a mantra to change things BUT if we continue to have the persistent offenders still offending, Sarri blind to Jorghino's failings and sadly, when the going gets tough, the tough down tools, we will get turned over badly yet again. As good as Manchester City are, we caved yesterday unbelievably and it looked like a training work out for them. Yesterday saw Sarri get Sarri-balled by Guardiola and if he doesn't think he has the team to play his way then he needs to play to the strengths of what has but his intransigence is going to cost him dearly unless he adapts.

I’m not sure how accurate this statement is but I’m told (to many teeth Klopp) finished 8th in his first Premiership season and the second coming called Pep finished 4th.

Let’s try and understand this should be a transition season and if we win a pot or two it will be a good season.

my only worry tom is liverpool and city wherent losing to bournemouths 4-0 and getting trashed 6-0 by rivals.

that result i blame sarri for in a way because how many more times is he going to pick alonso and jorginho and pedro and barkley an kova when they haven't performed all season.

I’m sure someone will correct me i am wrong but I think Klopp has finished 8th, 4th and 4th.

Pep finished 4th and then spent about £600 mil.

We should keep Sarri and back him not sack him.

TomB: In an ideal world we should keep Sarri but historically (maybe even hysterically! ) we do not keep at manager that clashes with the players and we have in Sarri someone who clearly believes in his 'one' way of playing and that will be his downfall. As I and others have said, he must adapt (can he) to the players he has not try and turn them into something they are not. They are not all bad players but they seem at odds with what he wants and if reports are correct that is two 'clear the air' talks in three weeks; doesn't augur well for the future.

C1955, Klopp had to make changes and the scousers are now a better side and his board backed him.

Pep improved his side with signings and that was as ageing squad a little bit like ours.

The board wanted a change in playing style so they hired Sarri. The board have to make a choice, back or sack but if they sack they will IMO have to invest three or four players anyway.
