If Sir Jim Radcliffe, or anyone else for that matter, were to purchase the club from Abramovich then I don't think any fans could / should really be seeing him off with a good riddance type attitude. He took our club from a very precarious situation before creating a dynasty, one whose trophy cabinet is full with every domestic and European trophy we could possibly win. There has, however, been signs that Abramovich's Chelsea dynasty, like all dynasties, is beginning to fall.

To a certain degree Chelsea could do with a reset button being struck, a new identity and a new dynasty. But it's more difficult, more competitive in both domestic and European football than it has possibly ever been; it's arguably impossible to create footballing dynasties in the Premier League.

Sir Jim Radcliffe might be the richest man in Britain but he wouldn't be able to come in and spend his billions, immediately replenishing the squad with 'world class' players - not if the club wanted to keep pace with financial fair play demands. I'm sure Chelsea will remain competitive, I'm sure we haven't seen the last of regular Champions League football, but I don't think we'll ever see success like we saw under the ownership of Roman Abramovich. I just hope that all fans are thankful for what he has done for the club; thankful that they were around to see it.

We will always be thankful to Roman but if he’s lost interest it’s time to move on. I’m not sure on Radcliffe he’s a United fan with a Chelsea season ticket. I’d prefer a nice Sheikh to come in and there has been one with apparent interest but he’s unnamed yet.

BlueDragon and you are basing your asumptions that Roman is not interested in the club on what? PAPER SPECULATIONS? OR ARE YOU FRIENDS WITH ROMAN HIMSELF.

Roman doesn’t even go and watch Chelsea abroad no more even though he can’t come the Uk it’s obvious he’s not putting the right people in roles at the club. Ballack or Ocampos should be DOF ASAP. He’s been overtook by the Sheiks and he’s focused elsewhere.

Mate who wouldn't be overtook by sheiks? They literally are one of the richest people in the world. Where abramovich barely makes top 100.

Also would you like to invest into a club which country have refuse you the entrance? Roman was never biggest attendee in the stands, was he?

Chelsea ranger answer to your question is, I am supporter same as you. Just i am of opinion that we still own Roman loads of respect. Seems like half of supporters are asking to be replaced by someone else, claiming that he lost interest (who said he has? He has turned down a really large offer for the club, which in my eyes shows an ambition and respect for the club) .

Maybe its time we show some loyalty and respect back to the owner?

I always imagined 'LARDY' to be a big chap!
