Ed 002 At the beginning of October you said you expected Cech to leave in January is that still the case?
If so who are the leading contenders for his signature currently?

{Ed002's Note - The club would like him to stay through to the summer but Cech wants to be playing. Enquiries have been made by Monaco, Real Madrid (who have moved their attention elsewhere) and Arsenal. I expect a move to Arsenal in January will go ahead.}

Very disappointing if that happens.
I would also be disappointed but am pleased that the club are not trying to dictate where he goes and are just leaving it up to him. I am a massive fan of cech and think he has been exemplary. Similar to when mata left I like that we do not try to control players who have given there all for the club.
