Hi guys,
It seems CFC will get John Stone in coming weeks for on around 30 m. And with report suggesting Fillipe Luis will be on his way out for a fee on around 12 m. We will be getting replacement in form of Baba Rahman for same amount.
Though it may finish our transfer businessfor this summer, I think we need two strong players to compete in Champions league in form of Paul Pogba and Antonio Griezman.
We may find difficult to land Pogba with so many clubs interested in signing him, but we can get Griezman for 42 m(that's his reported buy out clause) Surely Griezman can walk into our starting XI. We can off load Salah and Cuadrado for combined fee of 40 m and use same money to buy Griezman.
Whats your opinion guys.

Already pulled out of race for Pogba (who seems to be off to Barcelona) and Griezmann won't happen neither. Pedro may happen if Caudrado goes. But stones and Baba only two to be incoming.

We might have a chance to land bot Pogba an Griezman if Jose requests a higher budget from the board. I think they will only grant that if he agrees to the season objective of Winning all trophies both domestically and on the European level.

If it was football manager I would just become Juve manager, use there whole transfer budget to buy Mikel and player exchange Pogba as part of the deal. Job done .

I was talking to Mrs Fabregas in the shower this morning and she says Rahman, Stones, Aranguiz and Pedro are on the way in, Mikel, Luis, Salah are going, with Cuadrado returning to Italia on loan.

Witzel going to Italy - the Aranguiz deal won't be announced until the Copa Libertadores is completed (August 5) or July 22 if Internacional are knocked out in the semi-finals (they lead 2-1 from the 1st Leg).

Another interesting rumour has reached my ears: Cambiasso won't commit to going back to Leicester because he's waiting to see if Chels fail to get Aranguiz and he has been approached about coming to Chels on loan for the season - makes sense as Jose has a good relationship with Cambiasso.

Cambiasso? Really? :-P sure he wasn't bad for Leicester but I fail to see how he's an upgrade over Mikel. I like him though as a player.

kenedy hasn't been fully completed yet has it? So I would say him, Pedro, Stones, Arianguez (spelling!), Baba (not babyaro though haha!) not sure on other one.

Kenedy's signing isn't official yet I think. His club (I think it's Fluminense) gave permission for him to train with our first team. So that's why he's there.

Isn't there still an issue to sort out with his 3rd party? Who now owns him. Not his previous club I believe. All complicated anyway but no he's not been officially signed and completed.

Andrija Zivkovic would be an excellent pickup by the club. Exciting talent out of a very good academy, namely Partizan. Indeed Steve, he'd probably be loaned but it'd be exciting nonetheless. We'll see.
I'm more excited by our first game tonight to be honest, even though I can't watch it :-)

So do we all think that Stones will join us this window? Who else will go out? Seems to be plenty of sellable players. Romeu, Marin, Moses, Salah, Cuardrado but it's whether other teams want to buy them I suppose. I don't believe Jose for one second that it will be one in one out and that's it.

Yes, really looking forward to the game tonight. it'll probably be quite open as I expect more of the fringe players to get a run out before PSG and Barcelona.
