Hi ed002 how are you mate? Anyone in particular Chelsea are looking at for January? Doea our current form have any bearing on it? Don't have a go at me if that's a stupid question also:P
{Ed002's Note - Chelsea won't buy for the sake of it but are trying to do something from January - I have previously mentioned Neves and Marquinhos - but they are looking at others as well, but clubs really don't want to be selling in January.}

Marquinhos isn't that strong. Can't see him fitting in the premier league he's not that tall tall for a CB either. I'd very much like to see us chase Laporte instead of him.

I really like Laporte actually but I would imagine he would be severely over priced and as ed002 Said unlikely to happen in January

I've been watching a lot of Laporte lately per Jacksons lavish praise and I've got to say he has a lot of nice attributes. For starters he's incredibly young and has been an established member of his first team for a couple of years. He's left footed which is a rarity and I believe he's the only player were looking at in that position that is left footed. He speaks French which Zouma (our other long term centrehalf) speaks. I was also very impressed with his mobility when watching him play and he can certainly handle himself physically. Other than varane he would be my second choice.

Laporte has played left back as well, so that shows that he's indeed quite fast and mobile for a centre back. He'd be ideal but I see him ending up at Barcelona actually.
Niklas Süle from Hoffenheim is also a very promising centre back. So there are some options out there if they want to go with a younger player.

Marquinhos signed new contract last summer. Laporte doesn't sell to be for sale. Have some faith.

I think I also remember that he was annoyed about our offer being turned down as I think he thought he had a agreement with psg that they would consider offers if he was not playing?
