Hope he joins. Looks good. Would be good to get in him and around the first team squad, maybe get him a loan next season once he's settled perhaps?

Not keen on pinkys direct " he's coming" statement I hope he does along with Kante but I'm very superstitious that if we get ahead of ourselves it won't happen. So sitting fingers crossed for barbosa, Kante, jou mario, koulabally and a striker. Probably asking a bit much but you can hope.

And Andrew, I think you might be hoping for a bit too much there. Mario, Barbosa, Koulibaly, Kante. I can't see all of those happening.
A CM and a top CB and I'd be happy already. Barbosa probably won't join Chelsea, and I hope the club steer clear of Felipe Anderson. He performed worse than Salah in the same league.

Joao Mario does not look great at all, if we're going to play a midfield 3 then where would he fit in? He wouldn't even get on the bench, especially the price of him. As for Koulibaly, is he really premier league class, I would rather spend a bit more for an experienced defender like Bonucci and also bring back Christensen. With Terry, Bonucci, Zouma, Ivanovic and Christensen playing for the three spots at the back.

Mickydavies, when I said a striker that's on the assumption that Costa will leave this window. And yes it was wishful with list of names. But imo we need CB, cm, and a striker.
But no doubt we will see in time.
Just as an aside I thought conte did well in his press conference.

Hahaha Ed, simply my uneducated opinion of course ;-) the club employs people that know a whole lot more of football than I do, so I'm not too worried.
I'm just not a big Anderson fan myself, and I'm trying not to hope for Barbosa as I don't want to be sad when he then doesn't join. Rather be a little less optimistic and then pleasantly surprised if he does join us.
