Aina and Azpi can both play left back, though not ideal. Kenedy can also slot in if needs be. I would've liked to have seen Ake stay this season after his performances for Watford last year. Another year of regular prem football can't hurt though.

We got the best view last night of what a good full back can do in a game, I know obviously Marcelo is a different level to any other left back but we need a consistent back four which compliment each other this season, instead of having out of form ivanovic and a right footed left back ruining the balance.

Don't forget that Conte likes a back thre though. Kenedy would be perfect on the left wing in front of a back three. This could be him thinking long term? Just an idea.

The Dave at right back senario is because of mourinhos obsession with a right footer at left back "because right footers don't like coming up against left footed players" now jose is gone i would like to see dave back in his natural position. let's put square pegs in square holes again. i'm sick of hearing "oh so and so can do a job there"
