Talk of another bid being rejected by that nutter Di Laurentiis for Koulibaly.

It has to be time to move on now. The type of money the club are apparently offering would get us any other top centre half in Europe who are at clubs where the presidents are not straight jacket material. The player does not seem to be willing to force the move either.

It is exactly like last year, Napoli, like Everton, don't want to sell for any price so they don't lose face with their supporters, especially after Higuain going to Juventus. Time is ticking and we are running out of credible alternatives. I hope we don't end up with another Papy scenario.

If worst comes to worst i'd rather play Clarke-Salter or Tomori than splashing out on average players. Then either get a long term target next summer or start playing Christensen.

If Koulibaly is unattainable, then there's only 1 guy we should get. Jonathan Tah. I pray we go for him.

£60m being quoted, crazy money. I know it's not that simple but why not offer that for Marquinhos or Varane? Both younger and better.

If the rediculous amount of money being offered for Koulibaley is true then Real and PSG would hold us to ransom to get Varane or Marquinos! Teams can see we are desperate now and can name their price . Think we have shot ourselves in the foot abit with the Koulibaley saga and if a new CB does come in we will end up paying well over the odds.

We already have 4 centre backs, that's without the younger players or the likes of chalobah who can play there.

it hasn't seemed like much of a problem though, you can't say we didn't look solid against west ham. when you concede 4 against (albeit a well drilled) liverpool side. that might be when you should start panicking!

I agree Mikey, I'm more than happy for the club to sign Koulibaly but if a deal isn't possible I'm just worried worried the club might just start throwing money around trying to sign someone and other clubs taking advantage of the fact that we seem a bit desperate.
If Koulibaly dosnt come i would be happy for the team to go forward with what we have got, it won't be long until Zouma is back and hopefully Christensen keeps developing as well as last season. I think a pairing of them two together next season is very exciting.

With our squad playing to our strengths, is not sitting back being solid like we are trying to be. Especially with Cahill and ivanovic, and slowing jt. We need to start pressing teams, not soaking up pressure.
