Are we interested in Nelson semedo? I know ma united and Barcelona are bidding for him but since we are upgrading Alonso at lwb shouldn't we be looking for a rwb to replace Moses. I think both Alonso and Moses had great season but imo Alonso was better and if he is getting replaced shouldn't we seek and upgrade on Moses too? Semedo had a great season and is only 23! Also reports suggesting man united could get him for €30 mill which in the long term is a bargain.

Moses to play at rwb with azpli as a cover. So no worry mate!

I'm with CFC17. Even though Moses done well last year, if we intend to play Azpi in the middle of the defence, then an upgrade on moses will be needed. Clever teams knew to get at the back you go down our right hand side. Moses was good going forward but suspect at defending. Nelson Semedo would be a definite upgrade and for only €30m (apparently) would be a snip.

All this talk about Moses. He was phenomenal last year! You've probably only seen Semado play a couple of times if that. You need to respect the guy more.

Behave yourself mate. He was caught out of position plenty of times. And due to a lack of rotation he was out on his legs for the latter part of the season. A great example of this would be the FA Cup final. He looked shot before half time!

Come on, be serious, how many times have you seen the guy play? Moses will only improve defensively under Conte, but last season was his first full season as a wing back, and he was brilliant! But instead you want to buy a guy from the Portuguese league for £30m who may or may not fit in? Azpilicueuta is perfect behind Moses. The guy was a huge reason why we were so good last season.

I would agree moses had a fantastic season but looked a little leggy towards the end . his pace got him away with been out of position many times i think we will all agree.

Now I have a foot in both yards in this argument. Semedo, the guy is probably going to become one of the best right backs/ rwbs if he keeps on his sharp upward improvement. For the price quoted, he's a steal. If there's a chance we should grab it. If so, Moses and him will rotate and im sure Moses could also play RW if we need. So why not have both?
As for Moses becoming leggy last season don't forget as soon as the season finished he went off to have surgery on an injury. Fair to say he improved out of sight this season and Conte obviously rated him.
Get Semedo, keep Moses, play both.
