Why would Danilo go there though? City have just spent a world record amount on Walker, so it's extremely unlikely imo that he's going to start in front of Walker. Which in that case I'd rather be second choice in Madrid than second choice at City. With us it's very different. Moses isn't a RWB despite the fact that he played very well there last season (and I expect him to continue in that role) and we didn't spend an extortionate amount of money on him. So the challenge of usurping the starting berth from Moses is a lot easier task.

In current market £30m if fantastic value for a player of his quality. One of the best full backs in the world and would fit perfectly into wing back role. I hope we can still get this over the line.

Never really rated Danilo but would've liked to see if Conte could've gotten him back to his best. Don't know what other targets we have available at the RB position, Aurier would be a good shout or Ricardo Periera? . Danilo is still possible i guess but with our squad soo thin atm we're really desperate to get new players in.

JCFC, City are likely to get Mendy as far as I'm aware, so even if he's utilised as a LB/ LWB, he's still going to be riding the bench a lot.

Thanks for the clarification ED. You know your rich when you can spend roughly 80 million on 2 RB's. I'm sure we have other targets in mind other than Danilo.
