I am a after a bit of info. We were linked with a double deal with Roma for dzeko and Palmiere. Now it appears the dzeko deal looks dead, but since that came out there has been no talk of Palmiere. I thought he was keen and that the hold up was dzeko.
Can you throw any light on the matter.

Ed1 any idea why it takes Chelsea a lot longer than other clubs to close out a deal? Is it case where our club tries to negotiate the lowest fee possible. Or are there other reasons.
{Ed001's Note - it doesn't. Some deals are just harder to work out details on than others. It took Liverpool about 5 months to sign van Dijk!}

Dzeko's agent just confirmed that the deal will go through, "He has one foot in London"

what's gets me why are spending 20mill odd on a left that hasn't played for various of reasons and injurys and not spending the money of the potential on Sessongon Fulhams left back who has just scored his 11th goal today.

Or why not use Rahman as back up and reevaluate the situation in the summer.
