Here's an easy way to claw back money we've wasted this summer. Sell Drinkwater and Baka and being back Loftus-Cheek and Van Ginkel. Both are better players and are not one dimensional like the other two who shouldn't have been bought anyway.
And can people finally get off the Fabregas bandwagon now. I've been saying for two years when his passing games not on scratch it's like playing with ten men. We should be all over Kovacic as he's not starting games for Madrid with Kroos and Modric begins first choice. He's a proper box to box an might just be the next Modric.

Assuming we go down the much publicesed route of yet again changing our managing and therefore probably our team shape.
The next manager may well want to keep and play Drinkwater, Bakayoko, Michy, Emerson, RLC, Kennedy, Barkley and maybe even Cesc.
I can only see a period of change and upheaval ahead.

Van Ginkel has done well in Holland . hardly comparable to prem league, loftus cheek I’m not sure as shining in a palace team and shining in a team going for titles, bakyoko id like another season to see how he gets on, has attributes to be top player and was at Monaco. wrong type of player to partner Kante but will see, Kovacic would be a superb signing, savic of lazio also. A midfield 3 of savic Kovacic and Kante covering would be unreal.

We will need to thin out our squad to realise some money and probably lose one or both of Courtois and Hazard; I have said before, Hazard's style of play is suited best to the EPL not the Spanish League and I think he will make a huge mistake going there. We all have a list of players we want out and probably a list of who we want in but as we know Chelsea will not listen to any of us but if someone internally points out their transfer failings they should listen as they cannot keep forking out £15m to £30m on players that are not going to play. In an ideal world Van Ginkel is the sort of player we need alongside Kante but he has only played 60 (ish) games in six seasons and we need to see how he stands up next season to league and CL games. He looked very fragile after he joined us wherever he went so we should watch. If we are shrewd and buy just under the radar the Kovacic, Savic type players and up and coming players from the German league we could put a strong team together. We have to strengthen the midfield and we must inject pace into our game and have a target man who is good in the air and most of all stop slowing the game down and tippy tap passing in front of packed defences, it is getting us nowhere.
