Ed002: you have mentioned of a significant financial contribution that it would require to get Cavani to Chelsea. Assuming Costa deal would go through, would you expect us to bid for Cavani? Or would we rather settle for strikers of lesser caliber/profile/transfer fees? Also, are we interested in Dzeko?

{Ed002's Note - Nothing has changed in terms of interest in Cavani. There is nothing agreed in terms of Costa. There is no interest in Dzeko at this time.}

Regarding costa and cavani is it as simple as one or the other, especially with FFP

I would not say it is as simple as one or the other because of the FFP. A new EPL deal would see Chelsea increase the revenue from TV rights only by over 30 million pounds. The overall increase due to new adidas and samsung deals, TV money et al would see Chelsea add up to 70 million in revenue. Deduct the expected wage commitments of the outgoing players in Obi, Eto'o, Ba, possibly Torres, the likes of Romeu, Moses, possibly Cole, or even Lampard. It all adds up. From the maths part two top class strikers with the overall transfer, agent fees and wages + bonuses commitments seems atainable. Costa and Lavezzi would be perfect in my humble opinion.
