Are Al ain looking to sign Mikel?

{Ed002's Note - John Obi will be available in the summer with interest from Al Ain and Monaco. The interest of Inter has moved on and I suspect that the interest of Napoli will left with Benitez. Real Madrid has spoken with his agent but not with Chelsea. Al Ain have made a very good offer to the player and I expect a move can be agreed with Chelsea.}

How can you say "finally he's leaving". He's been a tremendous player for the club and was instrumental to us winning the champions league.

no way he was a 'tremendous' player bro all he could do is stay around a certain area and either pass it sideways or backwards. he's tracking and tackling is awful. yes he has had the odd good game (cl final for example) but he's very INCONSISTENT. people say here that he never complained being a backup etc well my view to that is that obviously he wouldn't complain knowing that he's rubbish while he's simply tagging along with the team getting good money and receiving trophy medals. who the hell would complain lol?

He may not be the most glamorous player we've ever had but he is certainly one of the most disciplined, which is equally as important. I think that when he leaves (if indeed he does) we'll certainly notice. Great servant for the club!

There are not many other players that can fill the role he has over the last 9 years. He has always been there when he needed him, not many other players could fill his role.
