A new possible rumour for us coming out of Italy as we might be going in for Dzeko this window, i assume that'd be if we couldn't get Carroll. Now i don't know about you guys but I'd take him over Carroll any day of the week, can bring a similar presence to Carroll in the air but isn't injury prone and is a fox in the box. I don't know why we are going after players like Carroll and Palmieri to begin with.

It looks as if our board is content with the squad we have and thinks it doesn't need improving but just needs depth which is staggering. Seeing Liverpool, United and even blady Arsenal targeting these world class players (players we've been linked with in the past) is just painful and infuriating. Personally think getting Dzeko this window would be a signing a lot of fans would welcome, don't know how true these rumours are but i assume he'd be a player Conte would like.

Can’t see it myself. Dzeko is playing champs league with Roma still in it. Carroll isn’t.

That's what i was thinking Adam, also he's their first choice striker, something he wouldn't be if he was to join us. Just since Conte wanted Llorente in the summer, Dzeko can play a similar style but is a top level strike imo. Can't see it happening personally either but it's an interesting rumour. Just thought with what we've been linked with maybe some fans would actually enjoy this one.

Would love him mate. But think we missed a trick not signing him when we had the chance when he left City. Interesting 2 weeks coming up!
