I won't come into Rafa's defence at no chance inthe world, nevertheless I am really ashamed at how the club always redirects it's failures towards one position and that position only.

Anyone remember Frank Arnesen? Well he headed oir academy for 5 years. Spent money left and right, had not produced one single player for the first team, yet his job was never under threat and he left upon the end of the contract. Oh and we paid Spu*s 5 mil to get him.

It took Peter Kenyon a nightmarish hiring of Felipe Scolari, a supposedly completed deal with both Dani Alves and Robinho (we already had his personalised shirts available on megastore online) an enormous amount of PR disasters and still, only the end of his contract saw him out.

This year we are living in a complete nightmare state of performances and business. I just simply don't get how the likes of Gourlay are in the job. Look at the financial deals of Liverpool, Spu*s and alikes (not mentioning Manchester United or Arsenal) and we look like amateurs. Warrior pays liverpool 25 mil a year, when we pocket half the amount from adidas, Aurasma is somewhere at 15 mil for shirt sponsor, while we do with that amount from Samsung. I'm not mentioning the Chevrolet deal at 50 million annualy, or DHL at 5 for training kits.

The PR disaster follows another one. From trying to buy back the pitch to claiming Clattenburg is a racist, allowing the players to go threaten the refs life and failing to keep them under control. Disgacefully failing to apologize for misconduct is the face of this board. It's a shame they run the club so arrogantly and all the country is clapping in awe whenever we land a "marquee" signing which fails so admirably as the blonde come ginger does.

Anyone seen the pasdion on the pitch last night? How was this team assembled? On fantasy football or some computer game? It is ridiculous. Our on loan team would beat this team as they have something to proove, at least.

You need character, desire, motivation, leadership, charisma, unity. How much do we have of any of these qualities? Wonder how much longer does an Emenalo contract has him employed at Chelsea. Because another Isco and Markovich on their way to Chelsea would be another decision made on a computer game and the blame would rest on a manager failing to make this admirable crop of talent into a winner, with another 30 players helping out the poorer.

U are correct to a large extent, I agree.

Whee are you getting these figures from? I actually think good work has been done with out sponsorship deals like Gazprom and Sauber, they're making us into a global brand.

I'm sure we are one of addidas's marque clubs too.

Not to mention new deals with Grand Royal and an extension with Singha. Gourlay has the club in a far better commercial position then we have ever been in before.

The only problem I see the club currently has JG is that we don't have someone in charge that can 'manage' the playing squad in an appropriate manner. Once that is sorted, we are going to be in an unbelievable position both on and off the pitch.

I love your optimism, of course. But how about you take the numbers of the top 5 clubs in England and check on how have we progressed throughout the last 5 years, for instance. Is anyone of you aware of how little are those deal compared to the competition?

And don't even get me started on this corporate rubbish which overwhelmingly flows from Kenyon (we'll make the world blue) to naming Chelsea "brand", "franchise" and other corporate crap. And this is so venomous, that every word from Buck to Gourlay sounds like a bank officials annual report. Boring, dull, uninspiring.

You come into defence of Emenalo. I'm shocked, of course, but I tolerate our differences. Having a need of two wingers, he delivers two #10's and we are made to play with three undersized technicians in our front four and a misfiring, uninterested forward. Some genius leaves us with one Torres to lead the line. And not a single substitute. Don't tell me it is RDM's or Benitez idea.

We have 23 players on loan and are playng a tight schedule, failing wherever we turn up at. I won't start over and over again. All i'll say is we have no clue how to build a team and the men doing it have no clue how to achieve it. Our summer targets are Isco and Markovic. You can expect both of them joining us in the summer. How would that work, tell me? Oh, I forgot. We can always send them on loan, can't we?

JG your commenting on something you have no idea about, our summer targets. Markovic and Isco? Don't be so pragmatic. Our targets do not stop at those two and you know it. Add Falcao, Cavani and Schurrle to the striking targets, along with interest in Bony.

Fernando as our holding mid target along with I'm sure many, many others.

You know full well we made attempts to sign Cavani and Schurrle in the summer. Falcao in January. We had Sturridge as a striking option prior to Jan and unfortunately he had a lot of injuries that took him out of the fold. Lukaku needed to be loaned so he wasn't a realistic option. Since then the club brought in the leagues equal top scorer in Ba.

Hazard hasn't always played as a no. 10 and nor has Juan. Both have previously been deployed as wingers. Both can beat a man (not so much Juan) and both can cross a ball. It is up to the managers to get them to play the wings rather than cut in all the time and play narrow.

Were you aware that there was a change to FFP just before the summer window closed that turned FFP on its head for the immediate timeframe. That our accounting would be put way out of wack if we didn't lose some players, all which happened after both KDB and Josh were loaned out? Essien was pants last year and realistically, probably has been able to play consistently because he isn't in a physical league. Raul was never going to stay if we received a decent offer.

Buck and Gourlay sound like they are giving boring bank reports, because they are running a business mate. They work in the realm of factual fiscal reporting. You can push doom and gloom all you want mate, but the only reason we aren't turning big profits is because of our huge wage bill, that has been in place long before Emenalo or Gourlay. They are the ones sorting out the mess, if you want to be so dramatic in naming it such.

Don't come at me now with this all knowing cr*p mate, because you, like everyone else thought we had a more than capable squad at the start of the campaign. Your powers of hindsight are no more powerful than mine or the clubs. I appreciate your views mate, I honestly do, but obviously don't agree with them. Don't take it as a personal attack.

Melbourne do you know what pragmatic means

7.) 08 Mar 2013
Sorry noname I meant to say ignorant. And don't worry mate, you don't need to explain what patronising means. I'm glad my post wasn't wasted on you.

As much as people may want to believe JG, the blokes running our club are not inept clowns mate. They know what's they are doing.
